We using the cardo packtalk. I used to have the sena smh10 that weren't that bad but with 5 head sets the packtalk is much better. Battery will last the whole ride and if you drop out of range and get back in range it will automatically reconnect. Only bad thing is you don't know when you leave the group or get back with the group when you get too far. Bike is a pain to start when cold but once you get it warmed up, about 20 minutes, it runs great. dont forget to remove the speed limiter when the kid gets the hang of it. And you'll got through brake shoes like crazy.

Never measured how fast it is but between my son’s arctic cat 90 and the grizz in a race they pretty close. The cat does around 40km/h. I never let the kids run much more then 20 25 though. Try to teach them that speed is NOT your friend on the trail. Even in a parking lot they know to keep it at a safe turning speed.

The bike is rock solid. Eats through brakes like crazy though. We’ve been on maybe 10 rides and they’re almost gone. Drum in back sucks. I like 5he width is great. An extra 4” makes a huge difference for stability. My daughter feel much safer on the grizz over the cat. But if I were to do it again I’d get another cat. You can get them about 800$+10p0$ cheaper and they are both made in Taiwan. That’s right, the grizz is a Taiwan bike. Cat made in the same place, has disk rear brake, auto choke, lights front and back, higher ground clearance. All that the grizz does not have. We’ve had the cat since 2012 and NEVER 1 problem other then some drum shoes every 2.5 years and rear pads once since new. My son has been riding the cat since he was 5. He is now 12 prefers riding his cat over the grizz every time we ride. Even when my daughter does not come riding he wants to bring the cat. Both kids are the same size, he just like the feel of the bike better. With a narrower wheel base and slightly better ground clearance he can bounce it better off all the obstacles the adult bikes just walk over. The grizz tends to get caught up a little more with its wide stance. The cat is a bit of a pain in the as to lower the speed though. You need to remove the speed limiter out of the primary. This is not all bad. Since the engine is not electronically limited, the bike has 100% power available. Just the speed is limited to about 18km/h since the clutch can’t close all the way.
Hope this answered what what you are looking for.
