Stephen... this song is among my favorites on the Soundtrack of My Life. Those opening chords take me back in time, every time, to a time when things were so very different than they are right now. *sigh* I know every nuance of this song through and through, and I always love encountering a person who also knows what it is to have such a song become a part of them. This is obviously the case with you, and the ease with which you delivered this song says that loudly. The liberties you took with this one elevated it in a way that had me make a new memory with it. (I'm obsessed with what you did in the 2nd verse!) This is what is known around these parts as "knocking it out of the park!" Happiness (and all that entails...hehe) seems to be the key to your superpower! Your vocal mastery seems even further heightened with the kind of agility most only dream of having...and listening is most delightful!. I tend to get in my feelings when I hear this song, but not this time...this time, I'm happy for you!... and I'm in love too...with my new favorite iteration of One and Only! Godspeed!
