Why get Kyle Tucker and trade Bellinger? Doesn't that say we're going for it?..I'd rather just shore up 1B and 3rd with Bregman and Walker and if you can get Arraez. Then you can just try Pereira out in center. I'm not sold on declining bellinger and 235 hitting Santander for 5 years.
Imo Hoerner is arguably the bigger piece between him and Bellinger. Better cap hit, younger and a solid hitter with elite defense and great speed. Makes it way easier to find the elite 1B and CF duo to do it. Bellinger could be the placeholder for now for either spot with a platoon bat but we gotta go all in for Tucker or Vlad next offseason
Arraez is terrible defensively which is the opposite of what the Yankees are trying to achieve. Bregman doesn't suit Yankee stadium and would struggle to hit 20 HRs, and we can't go into the season relying on Pereira and Dominguez in the OF. Also we need a lefty. Bellinger is only 2 years and is the obvious fit. If we can also sign Walker for three years we just need a 2b/3b. If needs be, I'd see if Cabrera or Peraza can play/platoon the final infield spot rather than pay Bregman.
I'm going to be honest. I don't want Cody on The Yankees. Taking part of that contract. And he's not really the same player at all. Plus don't know why he would want to get traded to The yankees and why the Yankees would want him with better options out there.
Whst better options are out there, yeah his contract is a tad high but where else can you get GG caliber CF, RF, 1B still runs great and can steal some bases who bats left handed and can launch in to that short porch in Yankee Stadium.
Bellinger's power really abandoned him last season. His agent wants to blame the fickle weather conditions of Wrigley, but that doesn't explain such a significant drop-off. It's not like the guy hit monster blasts that got hung up in the wind and caught on the warning track. Plus half his games were on the road. He hit routine fly balls and routine grounders most of the time. Even his hits seemed like the seeing-eye variety. The Yankees are fools for going after him.
@ he missed 30+ games last year and yeah “only” hit 18 HRs w/78 rbis…his left handed power would play nicely in that short RF porch in NY, compared to hitting them out of Wrigley…his GG D at 1B, RF, CF doesn’t hurt either plus he still can run. If he happens to have a monster year he’ll opt out and it only costs $27.5m…if he sucks there’s a $5m buy out so it costs 32.5m or trade him at the deadline
Let's do it, Yankees!
Take a sip of water bro😅
Also, breathe and stop the energy drinks.
😂
This comment got it
😂😂😂
Two days of reason I think for
Cody Bellinger trade agreement with the Cubs press conferences preparations.
Yankees need to make this now!
Cash needs to get it done before mariners swap Castillo for belly
Good I don't want bellinger. Especially after I heard his wife is Giancarlo's ex. Nah that's weird vibes.
@@mireyab5170 oh damn, I didn't even realize that
Guy is 😂 choking on his own spit! Slow down 😂!
Get them to take on $7.5m plus Grisham's $5m. Cabrera can be the 4th outfielder.
He talks faster than I can listen
Get that Cody b
I dont love bellinger but they have no choice but to trade for him . Just hope its for first
I will die on that hill*

Codi,Nico and Santana at lb
Who are the Yankees sending to the Cubs? Will Warren?
i think ive seen reports of that
Give them Stroman and his $14 million, and get the 2b as well.
We had Stroman we want nothing to do with that cancer
It's 18M
Why would the Cubs do that?
Also getting agreements soon with
Anthony Santander and
Corbin Burnes.
Lol yeah right
Ginger, bestow upon us the prophecy for the 2025 season in the Bronx of the New city. What is our Yankees destiny?
the yankees need santander or hernandez than bellinger.

I don't want bellinger either. He's on The decline already at 29. I just don't like it. Among other reasons I don't want him on team
