heres a tip for that style of playing : some licks are actually blues / jazz licks played on top of a very melodic / modern bass. try playing some jazzy licks very fast too
Tapping is the easiest thing a 10 year old can pause the vid on his left hand to see wat chord he pressing then see what his right hand taps. An harmonics ar on frets: 5, 12, & 19👍👍

This video right here is the first time I've ever heard/seen Ichika play. It's truly a miracle that I got to this vid. I could really see his improvement. The Ichika now sounds more confident/refined
If you can do all but level 8 then you should just try it a bit more. Tapping really isnt as hard as it is made out to be, quite a lot easier actually.

@@ale9507 I find it quite easy to change chords, but I don't really know how I got better at it. I suppose just practice the shapes and different variations, eg major 7ths and 5ths. In addition I have no issues playing with my fingers, but I started playing guitar on a classical, so it's kinda my 'first language' if you will
Not only did I enjoy the video, but from a writing perspective I could see this being a really interesting way of making music. Start with the pure basics and see what you can do with just those basics by expanding those ideas out further. Love it!

I find the ordering strange, in terms of complexity i find the melody and tapping sections should rank higher in level than the "high notes" with "everything" still maintaining the last slot of course. Ichikas style is fantastic and his skill level is remarkable to say the least, ive improved my own playing drastically through just watching and listening to his work, though its a never ending road in learning music, always something new to figure out

I don’t think the ranking was based on difficulty as much as it was a progression of the musical idea. The high notes at lvl 9 use the skills of playing the melody and tapping while playing the chord progression, hence those 2 come before the high notes
