I've just fitted some R&G heated grips on my T310 using the alternator take off. These grips are basically the same as the Oxford ones, auto turn off and memory function. I bought the correct male plug from ebay so that I could keep the wiring standard. On the highest setting they were very disappointing and I though that the grips were to blame but when I investigated further I noticed that when the grips were on the running lights were flickering turn the grips off and they were OK. The alternator is obviously struggling to supply the power, because I've since altered the set up to power the grips straight from the battery and the lights don't flicker anymore and the grips are nice and hot. Hope this helps everyone. BTW I'm in the UK.
If it has the 4Ah battery it does struggle a bit with accessories. If it has the 10Ah the story is different. I notice lack of power when I leave the alarm on for 4 hours, even the bip from the keyless system is faded somehow
A potato peeler is a lot safer ,,trust me lol ,,,,if your exhaust sounds a lot better than standard ,,,,this could be the bike for me ,,,great vids keep them coming
Better ride comfort, more convenient (due to the 310T can have top case and side bags that actually look good), the windshield does really make a huge impact on fatigue on long trips. Average consumption is 0.5L/100kmh higher on the 310T vs 310V
i am tempted to buy one also :) I am from the UK too, you dont need a 1000/1200 etc to tour around and have fun on, i just sold my 2018 R1200GS Rallye as i had more fun riding around on my 400cc Suzuki Burgman scooter. The Zontes ADV are brill looking bikes and they are different from what the masses ride...BUT its a new Zontes or a Royal Enfield Himalayan ADV..cant make my mind up..i am leaning more to the Zontes as i havent seen any horror stories online that i can see, and the Zontes seem to be better for motorway riding :D
I was waiting for your video, now lets see what you have prepared for us! :D
New exhaust is in place. Stay tuned 🤗😉
Why not use a slow drying glue instead of the impact glue?
That’s not impact glue. That’s super glue
Great job. Please do a follow up review after one year of using the heated grips.
i don't have the motorcycle, I sold it due to a huge misunderstanding with the importer of Zontes in my country

You use the accessories plug to supply the heated grips and the fog lights plug? So you have mad a split of the connection?
Yes I split the connection in two
How does this compare to your old Zontes, is it what you hoped for? I’m tempted to get T2 ADV with 19inch wire wheels here in the UK.
