- This video is cut from a single shot I took wandering around the Melbourne CBD, on a Thursday afternoon in August 2019. Please note some of this footage has appeared in my other videos, this is the long version. I begin on William Street where I board a B2 class tram heading north on Route 58. I catch it two stops to Flagstaff station, where I descend below ground. I catch a train to Melbourne Central, where I cross the platform to board another, which I take to Parliament. After wandering around there for a bit I board a Hurstbridge train for home. If you'd like to skip ahead at any point, here is an index:

Thanks for a great video, I like the individual character of each station each one easily distinguishable. The treatment of each is most attractive, nice materials and colour schemes.

Ha! So in famously weather-hot Australia people do wear long-sleeved tops as well! And coats, jumpers and jackets...
Yes indeed! Winter temperatures in Melbourne are typically in the 0-15 degrees Celsius range, while the worst days of summer can get up to about 47.
Fun fact: in Palermo you're almost exactly same distance (~5800km) from the North Pole as Melbourne is from the South Pole. You probably get warmer winters though!
Great job getting every set in the one video, your annotations are cool too!
The 4:56 hurst bridge was in Melbourne vs Sydney vs Adelaide announcements
Did they remove the William / Lonsdale tram stop
Is recording anywhere in the loop still prohibited, or has that been laxed a bit nowadays?
Yes photography is still prohibited in the loop. But history doesn't stand still, so I just keep on photographing anyway!
