I own one. Great all around bike. In the morning I commute through city traffic and take the interstate coming home. Does great in both circumstances. 75 mph in 5th gear with no issues.
What a great review, thank you. I’ve been watching a few of these recently and yours is a unique insight on things that haven’t been mentioned on other channels.
Well done Lana. You bring such a pure motorcyclist ‘s perspective to your reviews. I especially liked how you demonstrated the short comings of the side stand. Warmest greetings from US.
Great review. Had my "Goldline" edition 2 years. I love it. Easy to ride, easy to handle, easy to live with. It's also easy to spice things up a bit with aftermarket exhausts. Has more than enough torque and grunt to put a big smile on your face.
Thank God someone has at last mentioned the rubbish front mudguard. Extenders can cause oscillation and crack it due to the poor mounting system. But I love my T120.......
The "tool kit" mentioned is for adjusting the pre load on the suspension, I have the same luxury item on my T120. I also enjoyed your review, thank you
I love mine. Next time you remove the seat, look around the underside edge of the seat itself, you should find loops that are tucked away that when extended will provide enable you to hook that cargo net.
A nice honest, down to earth review.
what an awesome review!!!! a real user review!
Just like mine, including the color. In relation to my previous T120, what I miss most is sixth gear, as it often seems to be required. Great review, Lana!
Thank you. Your review here and the other short overview on the channel have really helped with considering this bike. You covered everything in a way that I have not seen from other channels.
That’s very nice that say, thank you very much, good luck with your decision, Alex
Another great review, personally i love this motorcycle.
Cheers from Greece.
I just got a 2012 Bonnie. I have had many bikes, long story, but in short I just appreciate this one is "easy". Only unnerving thing is the footpads that seem to be in the way of my legs. For the rest, it's not exciting, it does its job. I got a rear luggage rack and I am happy. I also put a small windshield on, as I am used to bikes with protection. this made me happy too. ah yes, and a central stand - useful when working on the bike. I think I will keep it for a long time.
Miss the old 750 models. They were really light and lithe in comparison to todays machines.
I agree, but I checked out a 2007 865cc machine today and it was the blacked out variety with custom exhaust, what a machine!!!
Got coverage of this bike enjoyed your input you could see you valid points and I get what you mean about not for you would be a good bike for some one on their first move up to big cc, good video thanks for the review
Triumph should really watch this video and perspective. You pointed out a lot of small things that could easily be improved to make living with it easier.
Nice review, thanks. Intelligent and grounded. Hi from Tasmania.
More about how it rides and how it makes you feel when you are riding it please we can look at pictures and read spec sheets. Nice line through the corners in the clip of you riding...
Excellent review. Lana brings up a very interesting point about the power of the bike being in the mid-range and what that means in terms of rider input. Tool kit... I'm pretty sure Dave can perform a complete rebuild with it. The rest of us? LOL
Nice little test and not a ringle jingle in sight.👍
could listen to her voice all day
I'll take easy anytime. Gorgeous bike.
Be interested to hear how you feel it compares to the Guzzi 850 V7 should you be able to lay your hands on one of those
Am a bit surprised that cruise control is not standard as it is on the T120. The Allen key under the right side cover is used to change the headlight bulb.
Cool bike but the front fender def needs to be wider. Waayyy too much splatter on the front of the bike. I'm looking at bikes for longer trips, and the T120 Bonneville is on my radar bc I like the styling/ergos AND it has cruise control. For intown errands I'm now riding a 2022 Burgman 200 scooter. I can stuff alot of groceries under the seat. Nice video.
Awesome bike. My favorite Triumph, but I ride a Kawasaki w650 so I am, biased. Can you get twin discs up front as an option?
The twin disks come on the T120. I have a couple Triumphs - two with twin disks up front but I don’t really mind the single disk on my T100. It works well and I really love that one side of the rim has no disk in terms of aesthetic. Love the Kawasaki W650, BTW!!
Hi I have a W650 also 2005 model had since new 27000 miles total reliable I was thinking about a new bike but I cannot let it go.
Pity that Triumph couldn't have spent a bit more and laced the spokes to run tubeless tyres, as on the 1200 Scrambler. Tubes are a deal breaker for me. Triumph's optional centre stand is also £260 - need I say more?
Very happy dear sweety you own the brand new and ofcourse you have managed to break with good deal and come up with the proper documentations superb marvellous 🌹🌹
Nice bike but I would prefer chrome wheel rims.
LESS TO GO RUSTY
Superb sweetheart you actually made my day anyways ride hard and be a pro 🌹🌹all the best n god bless you please keep supporting the cruisers and heavyweight metal mean machine thanx dear 🌹🌹take care
liked everything about it, except what i thought were narrow bars
I like the T100, but watching your review, I realised that there were several things that I would miss compared with my Interceptor. The lack of grab bars is an issue as I like to bungee things on to the back seat occasionally. The inadequate front mudguard is another problem. Also, I would want to modify the indicators and stop lights and probably the rear shocks, which to me is disappointing as I would have already paid a lot for the bike. I would also have to add a centre stand.
for me pros... great engine better than the 1200...83mpg max. cons ... chain adjustment what a pain.
whats your height in feet?
Gee, the actual engine sound (up front) sounds quite "scratchy, tinny". The older Trumpies never had that.
How tall are you please?
Nice to hear a proper bike not a high revving rice grinder
❤❤❤👍
Triumph make lovely, quality motorcycles but why can’t they make mudguards that actually work. At least have on an options lists.
The seat on mine is painful on butt cheeks. Height locks up my hips.
Great bike naff seat ..I'm 60 yrs on 2010 t100
Any helmet lock ?
There’s a hook under the seat so you can clip it there and reset the seat
05:25 Well, how dare you ride such a pretty bike in the muck? (really really very much sarcasm) Great observation I heard another UA-camr mention as well, and I appreciate. Oh, my INT650 came with "extenders" installed which slaves to fashion can banish if they desire :)
This is way better than the old 865....
🌹🌹🌹🌹
To me you look like the lovely lady on the Ride of the Rupert's see you later this year.
So on the whole it's REALLY a thousand times
Hard to criticise a bike for being too easy to live with.
The air cooled 865cc bike was far better.
In what way(s). An older, carefully used one could be an option for me.
In what way ? Ive had both and can't think of one.
Nonsense. The current retro-styled fuel injected bikes are head and shoulders better than the old air cooled carbureted model.
@@1wheeldrive751 they made aircooled models without carburetors
@WyreForestBiker no catalytic converter to remove adding a "quiet" exhaust pipes will sound wayyyy better than a newer model without a decat
Could have cleaned it first🙄
Y is the t100 all black now looks terrible just cheap looking bike 😢
-Too expensive in many Countries
-No bang for the buck
-Not powerful
-Not so good components regarding other models
-Still the tank, etc need redesigning
-Better buy a T120 or other
-Better to buy the real deal; a T140V or E.
I have a 48 Speed twin; a T140E with dual plug head; double front discs; digital EI; 32mm carburetors; rear sets etc; a T140E engine into a 67 T120 modified frame and a Thruxton R with the fairing low clip ons; etc
Build quality is poor on them
I found the opposite. I have both Enfield and this and this is better.
@@greatkingrat Long way behind on triumph but they not good now well the bonys r not. I like the new bsa but again QT with them
Too easy and pleasant to ride…🤷♂️…you heard it first here folks! 🙄😂😂🙈
