i really appreciate how easy to follow your videos are, it’s great for a novice player like me to learn better strategy and how certain pokemon/synergies work!
I just found this game a couple days ago and have been really digging it. I've been struggling a little bit trying to figure everything out as I've never played an auto chess style game before or dived heavily into a competitive "wiki" game that requires many pieces of knowledge. I really like that you go through and explain what you're doing and why you're doing it, as well as breaking down the different synergies and how they interact with each other. I was definitely not playing correctly trying to get all of one synergy from the start and aggressively rerolling for pokemon that I wanted instead of adapting more to the ones i was getting. I can't wait to put what I've learned to use! (If I can ever play again during a time the server isn't full...)
One thing you could do better in the end game is buying pokes of the same rarity that you're looking to evolve, as that removes the purchased pokes from the pool and increases your chances at finding the exact pokes you're after. Whether you find your pokes or not, then just sell the unwanted purchased pokes before the round ends (or hold them if you're already 50+ money). Similarly in the end game, if you scout what your opponent is trying to evolve and you've got extra cash, then purchase those pokes and hold them to prevent your opponent from finding them. One thing I’m still struggling with is the idea of replacing a lower tier stage 1 unit with a higher tier stage 2, especially if that unit doesn’t particularly seem to do all that much, like the Solosis you bought. For several rounds, it dealt less than 100 damage, and I couldn’t really see the value it brought compared to the Omanyte that was helping you win. Maybe it’s just a very small optimization, but I do understand that small optimizations in games like these can help you win if you’re not breaking the bank to do them.
@@van1ty665 really it's based on your team and current situation, but generally I'd say spend all your excess money above 50 on XP until your at 40 health. Once you are at 40 health, think about what will make your team strongest and spend your money towards achieving that. Leveling up is generally more important than rerolling the shop and evolving your pokemon, as the extra team size allows for more flexibility, better developed synergies, and also your shop odds improve

It is, but going from baby 5 to baby 7 is pretty easy, and you can maintain the lose streak from baby 5 to get a golden egg right away
