In this clip, Zab Judah spoke on the ring brawl that went down with Floyd Mayweather, Floyd’s Uncle, and Zab’s father. The incident was sparked by an unintentional low blow from Judah. Zab said Mayweather should have gotten disqualified once his uncle jumped in ring, and then broke down how much each person involved got fined as a result.

Zab was losing and out of frustration and confusion he basically blacked out into a street fight survival mode with the low blow and the subsequent unprofessional behavior. The officials got control of the situation and Zab remembered to get back to the sport where he was then again outboxed and frustrated until the fight was over and he was pronounced the loser. Zab is a legend and gave us great memories in boxing. He was competitive and gave the sport his best.✌🏾

Man I rewatched the fight and Zab bent his whole body over and came way low with that punch. Then he waited like 2-3 seconds before punching him in the back of the head, that wasn't muscle reaction. He did the same combo multiple times in that fight and it wasn't like that.

The low blow did seem to be intentional simply because it appears that Zab Judah is looking directly below the belt when he did it. However, when a fighter is fatigued, the shots tend to start going below the border out of exhaustion. There is no doubt Judah was fatigued.
At that point of the low blow, Floyd was on the verge of knocking Zab out. Roger told Floyd that he would break Zab down to the point where he would do something stupid, that’s why we got that reaction from Roger. He knew that Zab would foul Floyd. I don’t think they disqualified Floyd because he was dominating the fight and he personally didn’t do anything to be disqualified for.

I thought Zab got there, after watching it several times, from different angles, but you are definitely right about Orthodox & Southpaws and another Ref may have called it a Knockdown, but needless to say, Floyd was gonna win that fight. He did his thing.... I was disappointed in Zab cause he was lookin good early, then he got off his game, and fell all the way apart... I always thought he could have been more, but that was Floyd's time definitely.
