It's based on Money earned, guys that win every week start towards the back. Then they have to earn there way to the front. It helps prevent a guy from dominating weekly if he started up front. Make for a decent show
Guys thank you for that information. The only thing that is done here at most tracks is the 3 win in a row rule. Then on the 4th week you start in the rear of the main. You tend to see that in the support divisions mainly. But it does happen in the top classes. I seen it happen in a LM class this year
It just seems @ Albany Saratoga a car can not pass. Is that because there is only one groove through the turns? Race at Georgetown and Bridgeport allowed lots of passing. Jeff
Voice audio @ 19 min and elsewhere hard to understand with background noise. Any way to filter that out? Perhaps a microphone placed closer to mouth or like is used in NASCAR. ??? :)

Can you explain how handicap system works. Down south we just draw for heats, then start straight up for mains.
