so sorry to hear about your experience with the law exam :( it's important to remember everyone makes mistakes, and you've given yourself (and others!!) the opportunity to learn from them which is so valuable. good luck for the rest of your exams and hope you're feeling better now - sending you support xx
aww that definitely made me feel better thank you so much !! i only hope that by sharing my mistakes - it will help other students to not make the same as me! xx
Hey Wincy, very sorry to hear about the misfortunes you have experienced in the lead up to your exams and during this law exam. Hope you're feeling better. But remember, we're humans and we're bound to make all sorts of mistakes. So don't feel too bad if it didn't go well in the end, we all get too nervous and then unexpected things happen (it's defs not who we are). Hope your other exams went well - stay strong
hey william, it is good to hear from you! thank you so much for your kind words, it comforted me a lot. yes you are v right - sometimes i think i just get a bit wrapped up in my own head but at the end of the day we are human, and humans make mistakes. i actually didnt end up vlogging my crim exams bc i had so much ptsd from the pub exam that i wasnt rlly feeling up to it :(( if u had exams, i hope your exams went well too!!
@@Teyasummerx Hey Wincy, glad to hear you're feeling much better. It's totally understandable that you didn't vlog your crim exams as you got so hung over from that pub exam. I actually finished uni last year so I am already stress free for more than a year now hahaha. Hope you have a lovely break and I look forward to your next video :)
I really missed you Wincy!! I loved today's video and like the others am sorry that you had that happen to you before your law exam was due. I was wondering if you would be able to give more tips and tricks/advice, a dos and don't for first year of law at UOA or even just what textbooks we might actually need next year? No pressure ofc but as I plan to study law there next year I thought I'd ask someone with experience 😊 love you so so much ❤
aw thank you so much!! love u too!! 🥰I’ve done a few videos on tips/advice for first year and in terms of books - it depends on what subjects you’re doing! The law school no longer print out case books so all your readings will be online; it will therefore not be necessary to purchase any books unless you want to buy some supplementary books to help w content etc and these books will be recommended by your lecturer depending on what class u take. my advice for books (and i have said on my videos before) is to always try buy second hand! as an incoming Law student you are more than welcome to join the AULSS second hand fb page as well as the UOA second hand books fb page! if u want any other specific advice etc feel free to reply on here or dm me on my ig! @wincyxia ! xx
Hi!! Could you do a detailed video on how you make notes and walk us through it for Law? Starting my first year next year and I am so nervous. Hope u are well
hey!! i've tried many diff forms of note taking but i now mainly use onenote to take my notes! i upload lecture slides on there and then i can annotate the slide or write lec notes next to it! its super helpful i would highly reccomend! i make a new note book for every semester!
I study at UoW and I just completed my first year Law, exams for me were straightforward but I am sure you will do well in the rest of your exams so good luck :)

Hey I am a year 11 student and thinking about doing law just wondering what subjects you would recommend taking in year 12 (NCEA level 2)
I study at UoW and I just completed my first year Law, exams for me were straightforward but I am sure you will do well in the rest of your exams so good luck :)
thats good to hear! im sure you did great :)
Im a year 10 doing NCEA L1 science rn not doing so well as im not good at it but your vids make me motivated
aww thank u so much 💕 I did science in NCEA level 1 as well!! don’t worry too much about it - uni’s mainly take into account your year 12-13 grades !!
here i thought nursing school exam season was rough but man you can keep law exams
hahahaha
The enrolment stress is so relatable 😂
it was like the hunger games registering for classes
Underrated
Heyyy wincyyy xoxo
