Caitlin you have no idea how much joy you bring to our lives. Take as many breaks as you need, focus on yourself, and when you feel like it share with us your beautiful energy. I love you and will always support you. Fellow Atiny here ❤️
Arson is one of my favorites from the album and his live performance of this in Hobipallooza was incredible. I hope you get to listen to the album soon if you haven't already. It is amazing.
His changed Lollapalooza into Hobipalooza !!! His stage was awesome and he showed perfectly how talented he is and which level the BTS is getting now!! We are soooooo proud of him!!!! (And I LOOOOOOVE his curly long hair 😆)
I love the way you expressed your thoughts about the song and what he did with “arson”. Idk if you’ve checked yet, but doolset does have the entire album on her site. I hope you enjoy the album, it’s honestly a masterpiece. Like he did an incredible job as always and I too am so proud of him.
J-hope, J-hope, J-hope. I loved loved loved this version of him and the songs in his album. Many people might not connect with them, but all of these shook me. He is so so so creative, and it is so amazing to see and hear that he is so comfortable with his art and creativity ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
1Verse, Baseline, Hangsang. Cyphers 1-4, Outro: Tear. Those are also dark J-Hope, and 2 of them (Baseline, and Hangsang) are from his Hope World mixtape. I think the sound he is exploring is more grungy, rock, and old school hip hop, But the dark feel is not unfamiliar to us. There are also some really great upbeat moments on his Jack In The Box Album, like Equal Sign and Future. and some more chill vibes like Safety Zone. I think what his new album shows is how diverse his talents are, and that he is not afraid to try new sounds, genre's, etc.And just by having this album, he's made his choice to continue letting the flames grow brighter. And he definitely put his heart and soul into his work. He is defintely not done yet. And BTS just announced their BUSAN Concert October 15, 2022. It's a free concert and it will be livestreamed on WEVERSE Globally. 💜
oh thank you so much for this reaction Caitlin! When i first listened to this song i didn't turn the captions on so i just listened to the song and i liked it but didn't love it, i thought the mv and the beat were a little too simple, but now hearing it again and listening to your takes on the song i can appreciate it much more, i totally get what he was going for with this track and now i love it!
I love Arson. When More. dropped and I listened to it, I was so taken aback. I didn't know how to feel seeing J-Hope like that with a new sound. So it took me quite a few listens before I could vibe with it. Then I listened to Arson and I was like, "Oh, yeah! This is it right here!". Then the album is, firstly, too short, and secondly, such a vibe. Equal Sign is my jam. Also, he turned Lollapalooza OUT!!! I am so proud of J!
Thanks for posting this and giving me another opportunity to go back and review this song. I think Arson feels more impactful than More, they're both great songs, but this one is even more raw and the artwork of it all omg. The whole album, and of course at this point looking at what he did at Lollapalooza... he's just so brilliant. He's been my bias in BTS forever and I've loved him so much, but yeah Arson is like the perfect ending coming from More, it is a look at burnout I feel like. I love that he asks a question in this song because it lets us think about the question as well - how it can apply to us and what it could mean for him, either way - it prompts us to react to it. It really just gets me every time. Planning to go get into your other j-hope reactions for this era that I saw you put up but I haven't looked at yet.
Hi Caitlin I'm so glad to see you back! I love this song and his whole album and you will enjoy it when you hear it too. I know he feels that he does have to prove himself now as a soloist and Lollapalooza was his platform. That performance was hopefully the confirmation to his doubts. He works so hard and it paid off. People that have no clue who he was were impressed and the rest of us were mind blown. J-Hope is so talented and humble, you can't help but to love this man. I really hope you get to see his performance in Lollapalooza! As soon as he "popped" on the screen we all died with his look.... you'll get it when you see 👀. By the way, he sang one of his new songs, Equal Sign, with IU on her show where he was interviewed. It was sooooo good! You should check it out. I think it's IU in the Pallette. They had great chemistry
Hi! I really appreciate that you actually take your time and analyze a bit while taking the context into consideration. Most reactors watch the video, compliment superficial things such as editing and vocals and that's it. Of course you have history with BTS, know Hobi and all, but even long time fans often don't make the effort of really getting into it, no matter how obvious the messages are. Since I like to compare my first analysis with others, this is great to see! So thanks again and be healthy!! ❤️
Yes! You're the first reactor I've seen mention it, but the lyrics for Arson really reminded me of Shadow as well. Also with songs like "Safety Zone", the Jack in the Box album delves into the cost of fame from his perspective.
Yes!!! I was waiting for this!!! Thank you Caitlin, can't wait to see your reaction to Jack in the box, such a masterpiece... Hobi actual genius confirmed!
To be honest, I during that time, that day, I had questioned if J-hope would say bad words in his music and when I heard it. I was like WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?! of course I know him using bad words with the members but, I was wondering if he was going to use them in this album. So, I was in shock when he did. 😂

My literal face after watching that music video👁👄👁 I didn’t know how to react after that but it’s such an amazing song🤣

Welcome back. I still haven't recovered from Hobipalooza! I'm rewatching the show.

hey Caitlin, I checked Doolset earlier, and all lyrics are up 😊
