It looks like the house was built just for the cars and parts!!! It's crazy how life goes and ends. The guy really cared about those cars. I would like to see a video on the property and the story, I bet it is a interesting one.
I agree those cars had there own garage - home somebody at one time really loved that stuff .
Yes, really want to know about where all the parts were scored. Some might be one offs or experimental stuff. Can’t believe how cheap some of that stuff was let go for way back. So much history in that place it’s ridiculous.
That's great for you dude but I'm pissed I moved to Georgia as a teenager and worked for my uncle on places like this all we found was crackhead heroin poo and trash never any dope ass cars
Totally Agree 🐎🚗🔧💯🇺🇲
Really nothing too interesting, the guy who owned the cars died and his kids turned out to be shit nozzles when they grew up, happens all the time.
Whoever lived there...they definitely loved Mustang's!! Man what a find!!
Wow you been so lucky to get that .. cannot imagine all the nice stuff all over the house
What a great find
Best Barn find ever
Who let's these treasures rot away like this...I mean seriously. Did the old man pass away and were the heirs clueless? I own a Shelby....I can't wrap my head around this at all... Christ the parts found are probably worth more than the car...good find my friend, peace.
WOW!!!! CHA CHING!!!💎💎
Bring it home..big bucks car.
Wow! Was that a Buick GNX that y'all threw that battery charger and tow rope on? Dang son! Someone bee upset...🙃
How can that be real, all that crazy super rare Ford goodness just laying there like that? And for a long time??? Really????
Is that Regal getting saved to?
This is like my dream mash up of cars meets urban exploration
Thats nuts! I've watched all your videos 👌😎 greetings from portugal✌️
This is what happens when dudes do not sell their cars before they die...
Imagine there is treasures like this hidden everywhere. You just never know.
Yupp to think they were throwing engine stuff away definitely a ford lovers property 👍🐎🚗🔧💯🇺🇲
Not in SoCal. All been picked over. These kind of finds are so very rare!
I remember walking past a humble apartment building one day after school and some guy's wife was in a garage and lo and behold, a 1970 Challenger with a 440 six pack was parked in the garage!
man.. we need the story of how this got to this, this guy seems to have been pretty well off back in the day
That’s what I was wondering. They seemed to have had it all, then lost it all. Maybe they got sick and died with no one to claim it.
DRUGS
@@stude1953 True, that'll bring anyone to their knees.
I agree... Love the car, but I am so much more interested in the story.
It's almost seems like somebody famous had a hidden home, possibly a famous singer at one time? In the video they mentioned it was abandoned, so I wonder how they got a hold of the ownership for the car.
That house was cool as hell at one time.
Kind of sad to see...
What a crazy find. A Shelby, another 65 Mstang, and a Grand National sitting there growing moss with a chunk missing out of the front end. That house was a nation disaster area. Nice little parts stash. Very nice and fortunate find. Enjoy reaping the rewards from this one.
It was a crazy experience. There was also a 66 Shelby and other K code mustangs. This was a year ago.
@@AmericanMustangs ! We have a brand new dustless blasting unit and are contacting folks to let them know we would travel to do cars like this ! We are excited to get started . Finger lakes new York !great find
@@AmericanMustangs somewhere there is a setup like this with a 427 cobra inside.
Wow, so cool! That's crazy all that was in there! Lucky that not many folks knew about it or thieves would have cleaned it out.
How did that home go to seed like that ? Looks abandoned for decades. Lucky it's still standing. Who was this guy ?? Can you say ??
I have seen some incredible finds but I gotta say this is by far with the cars and rare parts one of the best real barn-house finds ever! Truly incredible
INCREDIBLE Find Isin't even the WORD for it .There were ONLY 504 1965 Shelby GT350s EVER MADE !! RARE isint even the WORD
Man that was an awesome find . Everyone watching here needs to have a moment of silence for the sad story that has to be attached to this.Ive been fortunate enough to be present for unearthing a couple of hoard finds like this over the years and it just makes you think about the day someone will be going through your own.
Yep, we're looking at some old boy's life that came unraveled.
I’m curious who lived there
Holy shit I did a tree job for the guy that owned this home years ago .
Do you know what happened to the family??
Insane find, wish you could tell us more about the history of it all.
Yess I love to hear the history I have been doing some research on the one I picked up straight race car 💪🐎🚗🔧👊💯🇺🇲
Tell me you bought the red k code 👍🏼
Congratulations on an amazing find. Now I understand you're a mustang guy but you didn't even mention the Buick Grand National Turbo sitting in the driveway. Definitely need to hear more about the story of this house how it became the way it is now.
Who cares about a Buick grand national when ya score a real gt 350 with a ton of parts
@@Jon-k8z um why not grab both? I wasn't saying one was better than the other. Both cars are classic hot rods in their own way!
Truly amazing there are still barn finds like this left. I have been searching for years for one.
House find
💪👍🐎🚗🔧💯🇺🇲
@@robfrancobruno2910 aren't you smart and special
They will continue. Mainly because of people who have restored them are getting older and holding on to their stuff. And I know you don't care but more and more cars are becoming collectable. So yeah
Any updates?
Shelbys are like Navy Seals. There seems to be a whole lot more around than they ever actually made.
Right, everyone claims to be a vet nowadays.
You have to "Remember" They NEVER built just ONE : )))
I found almost the exact same thing lately! same rare 60's Mustangs! Ford parts and VHS tapes were scattered everywhere on shag carpet! ..then,... my alarm clock went off,... I woke up....went to work....disappointed!
As a fan of the 80's muscle cars I sure hope that Fox body Mustang and the Grand National were also rescued...probably original low mile cars.
Or at least push the Grand National in the garage, if she'll fit!!
TK2..... based on those rare factory parts .... I think I know someone that was associated with Ford during that era . Is that property near the Alabama/ Georgia line ? Whoever commented about us old guys getting our shit together is right . Us old guys need to move our collections on while we can still at least supervise the liquidation. We should not leave this to our family to do !!!!! I am guilty just not to this degree !!!
Sincerely TK2
looks like someone had some money in the late 1980s...that house looks like it was something back in the day
Unbelievable!!. Good luck to you, and look forward to seeing the car restored. (as well as the K-code).
Congratulation on the find. I hope you can tell us how this all came about without divulging private information. These kind of finds, especially those with abandoned homes are one of the greatest mysteries anyone can come upon. When a car or multiple cars are involved, it takes the mystery to a whole different level. How does this chain reaction start? Home owner died, or sent to jail with no relatives of Trust papers to follow on?
Thank you. I plan to do a follow up video for everyone with more explanation.
I hope this gets a update on how he found this? Did he buy the house to get the car?
@@AmericanMustangs Yes! PLEASE give us a video and description of the PARTS! I used to work a Ford parts dept and am drooling over all the intake stuff.
How ENVIOUS and happy we all are for you :)
@American Mustangs
Wow.. talk about findings gems in the rough! Please fill us in on those other vehicles. I'd be interested in that Grand National too! 🙏🏼
@@AmericanMustangsI know it has been a year and a half since this was posted, but do you happen to have the contact information for the owner of the Grand National? Is it for sale?
What happened with the owner , I can't imagine someone just walking away from all that
That one single 4 barrel intake with two water necks is a rare factory Trans Am 1970 Boss 302 intake! The 302 tunnel port heads were run in 68 right before the Boss 302. Spare Boss blocks, sounds like he had a Boss 302 also. I guarantee you this guy died suddenly or was sick and died with no family at all. This house has been through before this guy got here, the damn Grand National and 5.0 vert are worth good dollar amount also!!
Yep, when i saw the Grand National I was like damn, what else in in/around that house??? Id be grabbing that too!!! Lucky bastards!
Awesome scores!!! Any info on the reason they were abandoned?
They went to jail for stealing cars !
@@waynepantry7023 could you imagine that was the Shelby was a stolen car and not reported because the owner did not know it’s been stolen. Then it gets a like new restoration then you find out it’s now been reported stolen by the real owner ha ha ha ha. One very happy owner one very miserable restorer. Hilarious
How did that home go to seed like that ? Looks abandoned for decades. Lucky it's still standing. Who was this guy ?? Can you say ??
This is just ridiculous cool. Please do another video with all the parts and stuff summed up 🙏
The other Mustangs were gems as well. Including the Buick Grand National outside. Would love to know the story of the owner of the house and what happened.✓ ❖
The house is not even that old. Looks like many of the 1980s homes found in neighborhoods throughout East Cobb and and Cherokee county. Incredible so much was there and not stolen over the years.
I’m curious about the story of this place, but more importantly how you found this place? Local ad you’re running?
A "K" code fastback 65, 66, or 67 is what I always wanted. That red GT K code made me drool. Are you getting that GT fastback as well. All the very rare Heads and intake and exhaust manifolds were also a sight to behold.
Why would someone abandon such an interesting house? Leaving the car under a cover sure left it in a bad shape. Rust everywhere! Gonna cost a fortune to restore.
What the hell happened? That house must have been abandoned since the 90s
I'd like to save the house
Holy crap, did not expect another fastback in the basement! It’s a gold mine
What is the back story on that house? The inventory on old parts must be valuable too.
Who could possibly have left behind such beautiful iconic cars? I hope you took the k-code and all those rare parts too?
A dead man is my guess.
WOW, bloody amazing, what a house full of treasures 👍🏻😃
Sad .Looks like some old boy lived in what was once a beautiful architect designed home with all his Mustang toys close to hand. It also shows that when you Die,you can't take it with you .
I like everyone else find this interesting and would like to know more about the back story, but not knowing the particulars maybe you cant tell, but thanks for the video
Great find. What's gonna happened to the LX and the other vehicles. Also what's the history of the GT 350, the owner and the house?
Car looks pretty solid. Mechanical restoration, drive as is. Anything beyond that would be a crime.
It's only original once.
That is just unreal and deserves a 100 point restoration
I just subscribed
Hundred thousand plus dollars, just laying around...... that's an insanely awesome find !!
Lol, more like $400K just like it sats, and that's just the car, no parts. Seriously a 65 350 is in a class all it's own, even over it's Brethren the 66 350.
A 65 350 just sold for north of $1.3M not long ago.
The restoration done by a Renowned 65 350 expert using only original parts when possible, then use NOS when original wasn't available.
In america everything is owned by someone - this is reality youtube - this wasnt free or cheap - weird how photo of GT was magically waiting as video begins - he prob paid what car was worth - 😳
Shelby
Fastback
Grand National
Foxbody
Harleys
Ford Dually
That is a Mans Man collection.
As collectors we need to get are stuff in order. Because we are one fatal car crash away from this. Theirs a lot of stupid ass people that don't have a clue what this stuff is. Like how did the parts get through around. All over. I'm pretty sure the owner did not do that. Look's like a bomb went off.
Somebody has already been plundering through that house before.....they just didn't know what they were looking at!!
Would love to see Larry at Ammo clean it up!! and see this rebuilt with all the original parts and patina.
What a treasure trove of parts too, I’d be scouring every square inch for Hipo and Shelby parts - I’d camp out until it’s all been gone through hahaha
Who just leaves that there ? Love to hear the back story
People die and have no family, happens all the time.
sad... glad that you were able to salvage before things got worse but good night man, don't leave us hanging without the backstory here. The condition of that house just.aint.normal...
Liked to have known the person who had this place in its prime....sad it got left to rot away. He must have been a lonely person...I can relate
What in the World happened to that house? It looks like End of Days and walked away from everything.
Hard to believe no family or friends would have taken over this stuff when he passed but who really knows how story went.
Unfortunately most of these situations end with the family coming in, bringing a huge dumpster and throwing everything away. They just see the money the real estate is worth. The cars & parts are trash to them when they are likely worth MORE than the real estate.
@@gailtaylor1636 Texas chainsaw massacre comes to mind. The house could be full of dead 💀 bodies.
Restored one in the early 80s found in a junkyard. Owner didn't know what he had till I pointed it out. My God what a gold mine. In primo shape that's a 160,000 car minus all the parts
Way more than that, only 562 made
What a story this property has someone must know the truth of all this . The person that cared for these cars knew what he had seeing everything you can see there is just awesome .
agreed, the story must be death or prison.
nuts that dennis collins just found a shelby also. ua-cam.com/video/aIj4-HGI6Zk/v-deo.html
@@4x4play4 Yes, but that one is not worth much because all the vin tags and plates are missing to verify it.
Gold Mine!! Should have bought them All. Unbelievable “Barn Find” !! How many miles on that Grand National?
Save the fox body too
Man.. what happened? Some real cool dude died suddenly? No family? Everything paid for? How in the world did this happen?
I would like to know what happened to the people that actually Lived there because he was a pretty cool guy to have all that stuff
All I can say is WOW and lucky the destructive raccoons didn't get in the interior! Can't believe that Dennis Collins didn't find this before you looks like one of his deals.
I hope you do a follow up on all these cars and parts. Especially the gt350 and the k code. I tried to check out your website, but it seems down.
The like👍 count is at 666,..... I think I'll leave it as is...... but if I could I would give this video and especially this place,...... another 666 thumbs up!!!
Omg this might be the best barn find video I’ve seen !
The owner probably died 20+ years ago and the heirs left everything....
There's a fortune in hi-po parts!!! Incredible find!!
Looks like Dennis Collins missed out on that one but he did recently purchase a mostly original 65 GT 350 that was turned into a drag car in the late 60s
Will you sell the parts, found in there?
Geez, I feel like a haz-mat suit may have been in order. And a Grand National molding away in the driveway.
This is unbelievable. Congratulations on the find. Who lets that happen to a car of that caliber? Glad it was inside.
The story is crazy behind all of this stuff. There were many more Mustangs and parts.
@American Mustangs What is the backstory how it was abandoned?
@@AmericanMustangs Pleaae share the whole story of this once in a lifetime find!
@@AmericanMustangs Without revealing names and locations can you offer the story the house and what happened?
House looks like its been abandoned for a long time, 2008 financial crisis alot of properties were abandoned. We still havent recovered.
Any videos of getting this car running? i would love to see it and driving. I hope you rescued all the other cars
Yeah. We pulled the car out in January 2020. It’s now running and driving. I’ll make a follow up video and post it. Thanks for watching!!!!
@@AmericanMustangs anytime. Can't wait to see it running and driving. Another cool thing to do is make a video taking it to a local car show or meet and record people's reaction to its original state
That’s a shame that house is like that! Looked like it a beautiful home at one time.
Cool find. Great to see this lot saved. 👍
I've always been a proponent of rescuing animals, especially the four-wheeled equine breed (Mustangs, Pintos, Colts, Broncos, etc).
I'm genuinely astounded that there are "barn finds" like this still around, astounded but glad!
Kind of sad. You can tell the guy was really enjoying life. What a cool house. It's like some single guy's dream. No wife or kids... Only cars, bikes, high ceilings and all the girlfriends you can handle.
.
I'm a Ford/Shelby guy and this is by far the best it can get regarding barn type finds.
On the other hand there must be an extremely sad story of why it was abandoned like this.
Would be indeed interesting and probably a tear jerker.
Yes I thought the Boss Bronco was a crazy find, but this is next level.
Keeping the number secret as if somebody is going to dismiss you over it. Tell the story already.
Absolutely unbelievable it’s 2022 and they are still turning up! Did the Shelby registry know about this? I hope we can watch the restoration.
Thanks. Yeah Shelby registry knew the car still existed but it wasn’t on the radar. I’ll post a video of the car now. Freshened drivetrain, brakes, suspension etc but didn’t touch the paint. Interior is all original and cleaned up nice. Not planning to restore at the moment. The plan is to let the car tell its story for a little while. Thanks
@@AmericanMustangs I love it !
@@AmericanMustangs Share the story of the owner and the house if possible. I understand if not possible due to privacy but always interesting to hear the story on how these came to be as found. To me this seems like maybe the lake house was the guy's place to do car stuff. Like maybe the place he hauled all his swap meet goodies back to although I am imagining that the fox body was probably for the Mrs, and was that his and hers Harleys on the side of the GT350?
@@AmericanMustangs Are any of the heads, cams etc. going on the market?
@@AmericanMustangs Great! Exactly the way to go on that car!
Nothing is abandoned and free. Someone owned the property!
That car cover sure did a number on it.
it is so sad that someone that owned it, didn't sale this before it turned into this crap in this condition. it is hard to believe a true ford man could let it just set rusting away in a garage, wow !
People get sick and die all the time and leave stuff behind. Or a sudden death and no family.
Why you say that. He had it and that’s all that mattered. At any time it can be brought back to new.
A Shelby, A fox body, ALL the extra parts and a grand national. Why pull the car out just move in!! 🤯
You officially save them from the house caving in on them, or worse a fire! I could use a set of those Hipo heads if you want to spread that love around. Between me an my brother we have one un restored engine less 67 GT500, two 65 Fastbacks, one is real K code, it's been missing the original date correct engine since the day my brother bought it, but there's a 70 Boss motor in that little K car, his is Poppy Red 65 K code unrestored patina hot rod complete with minor rust, mine is Honey Gold 2+2 with a bunch of OEM Ford goodies, and a proper paint job. Score of the year, if not the decade for Ford fans right here.....
Did Dennis Collins purchase some of it before you?
Let me guess you happened to be driving around and just found it. This seems like you knew who lived there and got real permission to take them. LOL Would you sell one set of cobra covers and that radical 4 barrel intake? and a set of hi-po heads and one boss block.
Hey that was a grand national in the driveway!!!!!
Would love to know the story here. I can't help but think something bad happened to the owner and the family refused to sell the stuff, or a court battle happened and things got frozen and deteriorated with time. Either way dude was a serious gear head. Shelby's, K codes, Tunnel port heads, Boss blocks.. DAMN!
Straight ford gold mine 💛 🐎🚗🔧💯
Yes I would like to know the back story on The house and the owner if I had a guess he probably worked for Ford and probably passed away With his kids taking the inherited money and not caring about his stuff and property That's just a lot of stuff for Ford Mustang in one house He had to work for at least the Ford racing crew or Ford company
Wow what is the story on this? A random 302 tunnel port head used as a door stop??? Amazing story in here somewhere.
How does anyone leave a real 1965 Shelby in an abandoned house that was literally falling down around it? The house looked like it was nice at 1 time. How does anyone FIND this Shelby and buy it? Also a 65 Hi Po GT fastback almost as valuable as the Shelby, or the rare Ford parts scattered everywhere? What cant I fall into these deals? It always makes me wonder how much these “barn find” cars sell for.
NICE RESCUE! NEVER UNDERSTAND PEOPLE HIDING AWAY CLASSICS....LETTING THEM ROT
