I had a really rough day today, and this video made up for it! I am a special education teacher and I typically like to wake up about 2-3 hours before work. This gives me time to have my coffee, and get prepared for the day before I start getting ready. Today I woke up 40 minutes before I had to be at work, and once I got to work, it was quite a day! When I was on my commute home, I was winding down and thinking "I am finally done with this day, but I need something to make a less than perfect day BETTER." You did that! When I got home and opened UA-cam, I had a new Beth video!!! The video was awesome, it made up for the horrible start and less than perfect workday. Thank you, Beth!!!
Beth you are my show on Thursday. You are so much fun and so inspiring. Reusing clothes makes a difference in the world and you are promoting that. 💘 always play dress up !
I would like to know the prices to compare then and now I’ve been vintage shopping for50 years since I was a teenager but back then 40s and 50s styles were the styles we would look for and used to want wear😘
would like to know the price paid for items to know just how much of a bargain it is. this also give a comparison for shopping where I live and shop. thanks...
This was a fun video! Beth, I would strongly suggest learning to hand sew because you could’ve bought that cute jacket that was slightly too tight and just moved button over or even added a hook and eye. You will be able to buy more if you can do really simple alterations. I thrift things that are so much bigger now and have so much fun not being limited to specific sizes. ❤️
Love love love!!!! So happy to see Picky Jane too, best Vintage treasures 🦄 this video was so fun I wished I could pull a Mary Poppins and jump right in with them! Invite ladies! 😉😝
i had the BEST esprit pants back in thew 80's I wore them until they were thread bare! They were that cool 80's full leg taper at the ankle 80's hot pink corduroy and I have never gotten over them!
How incredibly sweet of you making friends through fashion and enjoying everyone’s unique style. I better step up my game while out and about. I would love to run into you.
This weekend I was in Germany and my wifi was makeing troubles but part by part I was watching your video...Quenn B you are giveing me so much inspirations...your smile and optimistic talk make my day. .thx
Beth, one day I will visit the Rose Bowl Flee Market; I visit my daughter in Oceanside three to four times a year so it's on my bucket list!!! Thanks for taking us along, I appreciate that you asked the people you talked with about their you tube and Instagram names. Judy
Top ten of your shopping videos! Obsessed with both of you guys and your pics! Also loved that you asked people what they were wearing too!❤️ can’t wait to constantly rewatch!
The Rose Bowl flea is definitely one of the things I miss the most from California!! Always amazing finds and the people-watching is superb, as you mentioned yourself!
Look forward to your Thursday videos and what a fun classic flea market! Love seeing you partner with Annette for her expertise at the Rose Flea - all the tips are so helpful :) Amazing that you found the perfect DR chairs (looks like they were in excellent condition) and the romantic dress. Did you get anything else? Like Barbara below I would love to see quick recaps of all your finds and pricing in future videos.
First off I died for your while outfit and Annette’s amazing pants!!!🥰😍😘‼️This was so fun and the Rose Bowl is on my list for places to visit! Loooove the chairs 💝💝
I almost went to the Rose Bowl Flea Market this past Sunday when I was in LA! Last minute decided not to because we were trying to pack wayyyy too much into the short span of our visit. Next time. :) That measuring the waist of a skirt/pair of jeans around your neck to figure out if they'll fit tip is LIFE-CHANGING. And the chairs you found for your dining table are stunning.
okay, I have two questions! 1: who ended up with the gorgeous silky colorful bomber with the belt (15:07)? 2: how much was it? Love your videos :* hugs from Copenhagen
In love with this video! So many inspiring women and style! My favourite was that vintage jumpsuit from Trust Fund 21 Vintage! And that yellow military liner! To die for!
I love the first piece you found, that picture is a fabulous find. I usually go to the vintage section right away when I go to flea markets. I try to snatch up things I like right away to make sure no one else gets them first, then at the end I go through everything to see what I’m keeping. You got some fabulous things can’t wait to see how you style them. I’m heading to Canada next week to thrift at this amazing place called Eva B in Montreal. Love your videos bjones xo
You could of adjusted the button on the plum waist blazer to fit. That a shame it was such a sweet find. How did you get the chairs home? and they could not look more perfect in your space. Great tips, I never been to a pop up flea market. And it seem to be the place to be because you bump into everyone. How exciting, I would have to bring rations because it would be 6 hours at the least for me. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you in the days to come.
Always love your videos! That picture looks like you! I have some boxes going out in the next few weeks! I need to get my UA-cam page in order first! TU
You are the style queen B. Jones 👑! Just one question - what do you do with all the clothes you don’t wear anymore? Do you have an online store or do you just donate back to thrift shops?
What a fabulous video.!! Looks like you had so much fun. What I'd give to go to a flee market of that size!! Love your chairs. Have you ever gotten buyers remorse??
I always have my handy dandy notebook when I watch your videos! I learn so much! And I never know who you're going to run into! :-) Those chairs tho! OMG! Where did you end up putting that picture? Did you get the rug? It was AMAZING!
Hi Beth! The chairs look like vintage Baughman, and are beyond a good find. I'm wondering if that is a vintage army jumpsuit? I have one and it's one of my all time favorite vintage things, it's a total unicorn to find one that fits, so if it is you are showing off your skill there :) xo~D
Do you have an eagle eye for flaws, marks, tiny holes? I check out things and seem to still miss marks until I get home! UGH any advice or is it all experience? Thanks
Omg I went there two years ago and I never wanted to leave. Other than the chairs and dress what else did you buy? Or can you style this in the next style on the fly.
Ok, I have to disagree with the neck/waistband trick. That only works if you are a smaller size. If like me, you wear a size 16 pant, the waistband will be much bigger than your neck is around. This is because our body circumference grows at differnet rate then the neck.
Hana Tanana I do the neck trick but adjust it to fit my measurements. I find that if it touches slightly around my neck (like the way she describes) it’s a little loose for my waist. So I came to realize that a perfect fit for me is actually if it’s a bit too small around my neck. Other people’s measurements will of course vary, you kind of have to figure out via trial and error.
@@Androgynary The reason I post it is as a caution for people to use that 'neck trick' and then be surprised that their pants will be too big or too small.
Hana Tanana of course, the neck is just easier and faster to test out than other parts of the body for me personally. Other people like using their forearm inside the waistband. Whatever works, but the same principle applies. You can also just take a pair of pants that already fit well and see where they hit around the neck, and viola, you know what to look for when shopping.
The one decade I have no interest at all in wearing again is the eighties. I was THERE. Ugly then and ugly now. I rebelled against all fashion in those days, and wore jeans, moccasins, and t shirts.

Aw! Wow! Love what you do.. and happy I could bring a little joy to your day!
Hooray!!! Beth posted a new video of flea market goodies! Thank you for sharing the fun! 😘👏📸🍃
Beth you are my show on Thursday. You are so much fun and so inspiring. Reusing clothes makes a difference in the world and you are promoting that. 💘 always play dress up !
That "chubby" coat was cute and looked so cozy! Love: vintage Nike sneakers, peplum jacket, colorful rug, yellow cropped sweater, black floral print cardigan, Laura Ashley vibes shirt, white beige vibes outfit, orange wrap top, ribbed tank, puff sleeved southern goodness floral print dress, vintage Gucci red purse
I’m liking the variety of vlogs! Keep them coming!
The Rose B. Flea is definitely on my bucket list‼️❤️️

Really enjoyed this and loved the tips on "how do you know/decide what to actually bring home"
The chairs and dress were perfect! Thanks for taking us in to what looks like a fun place 😍😍😍
I remember wearing the brand nafnaf she mentioned when I was a teen.
First off I died for your while outfit and Annette’s amazing pants!!!🥰😍😘‼️This was so fun and the Rose Bowl is on my list for places to visit! Loooove the chairs 💝💝
Really enjoyed these tips and tricks for visiting flea markets! I live in the UK but a lot of the advice is still very useful.
Loved this video so much and all of Annette's killer tips!
Oh wow, I have that exact polka dot peplum jacket/top! I swear I was channeling some B Jones when I got it!!

Tight jacket? Take off the closure button and move it over a bit.

Who ended up getting the green & purple floral quilted coat you & Annette grabbed at the same time? It was so good!🤠🌸
I love this video!
Wow lucky! those rugs!
Great finds! The pants trick doesnt work for my booty and thighs 😔
Same, my neck doesn't have love handles ;) Pant shopping is a struggle.
Yeah. My neck is way skinnier than my waist!
Always love your videos! That picture looks like you! I have some boxes going out in the next few weeks! I need to get my UA-cam page in order first! TU
I will find myself there one day for sure!!! 😍
Loving this video. All the great finds . luv luv this flea market. Not as good as ours in the UK
I have a question for you and/or Annette. I have a vintage St. John blazer - do I remove the shoulder pads or leave them in? What’s your opinion?
You are the style queen B. Jones 👑! Just one question - what do you do with all the clothes you don’t wear anymore? Do you have an online store or do you just donate back to thrift shops?
I resell, I donate back and I pass along to friends.
What a fabulous video.!! Looks like you had so much fun. What I'd give to go to a flee market of that size!! Love your chairs. Have you ever gotten buyers remorse??
Oh yes.. for sure.. wish I got the peplum top!
Hello from Indonesia, i love B. Jones Style so so so much 😘😘
I always have my handy dandy notebook when I watch your videos! I learn so much! And I never know who you're going to run into! :-) Those chairs tho! OMG! Where did you end up putting that picture? Did you get the rug? It was AMAZING!
I haven't decided on where to put the painting yet. I did not get the rug. Too pricey for now.

Aw!! Till I die!!
This duo tho!! So good. Please make Annette to do UA-cam!
Hope you bought that peplum top and used a belt to keep it closed. What a fantastically funky vintage piece
Do you have an eagle eye for flaws, marks, tiny holes? I check out things and seem to still miss marks until I get home! UGH any advice or is it all experience? Thanks

Just ❤️
Thank you Annette for all the great tips! As always, love your video! I really liked the suede multi color tank.

LOVE ANNETTE! What awesome finds!
Annette is so adorable!!! Beth, how did you get your furniture home from Pasadena? Did they deliver it? It looks so nice in your dining room!!!
They delivered!! Thankfully!!!
😍😍😍
First!
The one decade I have no interest at all in wearing again is the eighties. I was THERE. Ugly then and ugly now. I rebelled against all fashion in those days, and wore jeans, moccasins, and t shirts.
Annette’s find is very Ethiopian
That pant trick doesn’t work if you have curves!!!
