I would love to see you do more "thrifting with us" with nonwhite and non-thin women. The thrifting community is incredibly diverse and it should be highlighted.
@Naomi Ellsworth yes, it truly is but her friends perhaps are not, which is likely why you are what you see but yes, diversity would show many more style vibes and awesome combos!
Thats ridiculous, they can't help who they are! Should they gain 40 pounds and change their color? I appreciate them making a video regardless that they r skinny and Im overweight. I just bought 2 nice tops at a Thrift Store tonight for a total of 5 bucks, one looks brand new!!
My first memory of thrifting is going to a jumble sale (think that's a Scottish word) with my granny to find me a knitted poncho. I was about 5 so 1973 and I got the most amazing rainbow one with pom poms!!!! Xxxxx
So glad when you go thrifting that you don't just fly through the clothes on the rack like so many people do. We can actually see what you are looking at.
Beth, u always give us the goods and I am here for it! I'm truly in shock at all the treasures Coury passed up on! The purple suit, the peach dress, the whole outfit that she paired with the blue puff sleeve sweater... and everything looked amazing with her shoes...Wow, her closet must already be packed with gems for her to turn down gold so easily! Loved this collab
What is the point of buying something that’s vintage and making it not look vintage by cutting it up? That ruins sooo many pieces for actual vintage collectors like myself...
So glad you said this! It pisses me off when people buy these gorgeous pieces in great condition and then “thrift-flip” them into something hideous with raw hems or distressed knees 🤬 Shop at a modern store or a consignment store like Crossroads and leave the “too vintage” pieces for us who can appreciate old-fashioned things just the way they are!
So fun! Great finds as usual! I love Coury's style and the way she wears pastels! So sad she didn't get the orange floral 70s maxi dress! I wanted for myself.
Great finds ladies love thrift shop s so much so I now work in one.its great fun.thank you for all the style ideas ! Love it always play dress up soooo kool
I have so many clothes like in 3 different houses and I really need one big closet so I can actually wear my things, the stuff I forgot I had. Love seeing you dress up
When coury picked you that peach colored 70s dress I screamed because I have that exact one that I found at a thrift store in the middle of nowhere Ohio (where I’m from) for 3 dollars. It just shows how small our little world is!
You are so cool ! I started to go basic with my wardrobe and it just didn't feel like me. I am so not basic. I found your channel and you made me realize that being yourself and showing personality through clothes. Is the coolest way to be. I have been buying more prints cool t-shirts with logos and it's because you showed me to be myself. I love getting dressed now. Been a thrifter for a long time. I'm not basic for goodness sakes I have blue black hair a nose piercing. I'm 46. So thank you for your inspiration.
📢📢 Beth . . . *THAT leather jacket all snatched in on sides/back for fit though* !! eeee Laughed when you sighed & made a face when saying "I might have to get it" 🙌
I love your channel and have never commented but I have to say I’ve been thrifting and doing vintage clothes since my twenties and I’m now 60 and still love it, e bay just made it more commercial and accessible. Just wish we had as much access in the uk
Jill, I can relate. Started thrifting in my 20s as well...got the cutest little winter boots for my baby boy and was hooked. Mixing thrifted items with the occasional new-off-the-rack piece made for some interesting looks. Still thrifting at 63, only now I can do it every single week if I feel like it.
So enjoyable! Loved the shopping bit and the try on! Amused by the dress that was falling apart! Loved all those blouses! I think you are doing your magic on me! Have actually stopped buying black pants ++++ you are both beautiful young ladies Aussie Lady
I can’t believe how many great things you found. I haven’t seen a “thrift with me” this good in a very long time. So many great tips and dresses. And I’ve been looking for the perfect vintage suit for over a year, that one coury tried on is my dream.
I’ve always loved flea markets and antique stores, but never for clothes. Not until I was in my late 20s. When I was young, worn in, distressed jeans were something you had to do yourself.. And it took forever. I used to donate to goodwill, and one day, i was in the store and noticed the jeans section...and found a few pairs of great faded jeans, so I went back now and then, though only for jeans. Then a Vincent du Paul opened in my neighborhood, I went in on a whim and found an Ann Taylor trench and a brand new LlBean barn jacket (close to $200 new) for less than $10 each....and that’s when it really started. I’m kind of sad that it’s become so popular....even though it’s a good thing, it’s driven prices up. Still better than buying new...but still.
Enjoyed your co-thrifting with Combs. I have never thrifted with anyone and I would be afraid to do it because they might grab something I want. Are you going to do anymore videos on the thrifting challenges to your followers for styling items. This always provided more diversity to your channel (reading the concerns in some of the comments). Looking forward to your Little Women update styling. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you in the days to come. Happy and Bless New Year!
My first thrifting memory was also for Halloween costumes for me and my sister. We got evening gowns to dress as princesses, long before Princes Diana. We had dress up fun for a long time after Halloween.
I live in Guatemala. The jacket you have is made from a huipil- or the traditional dress that women wear here. Most likely it was handwoven, and id have to see the pattern a bit better to see what area it’s from as each community has their own design and colors. Great find, and very special piece!
Coury: “Don’t you love winter when you can wear socks.” ?!!? Those of us here in Chicago are happy to get out of our socks in June! With the exception of those strange guys who wear shorts in March...
The dress that Courey passed 16.16 gave a glympse of Zimmerman floral fabric designs collections then the red dress I might considered it wearing as a beach cover up with out the shoulder pads.. I can not remember the designer that make cover ups like that but cost a fortune.. I went to checkout the names, Verandah, Alexis (pavilla dress), or rococo ayaka robe dress. I wish Courey showed us more or the other pieces if clothes like the white and black dress.Nice video.
When I was young you never mentioned you went to a thrift store for clothing. That was looked down on. Times have changed and I'm glad. There are many reasons people go thrifting and most people have several reasons why they go.
Like: white wraparound dress, striped dress, orange vintage dress, 80's red dress, velvet coat, brown blazer coat, knit sweater vest, green puff sleeve coat, plaid prairie top (couldn't see the potential until you tried it on), white button up top with the embroidered collar (looked good with the outfit Coury put together), navy blue polka dot blouse (potential too), pink plaid jacket that you said pass on, orange polka dot dress (potential), purple suit set (potential), leather biker jacket
That same leather jacket you tried on was at my local thrift store years ago for only ten bucks and I passed it up. Went back the next day and it was gone, of course!
You ladies look fab! Love these relaxed series but skip the single use coffee cups and bring your own along! Or just get an even more fab sponsor for it?! Yay team thrift ✌🏽😎
Maybe ... But i had a Wrangler shirt when I was 6 years old back in 1980 and it didn't come from Walmart☺ I loved that shirt until one day it got tar on it from a house we were building for my grandparents in our backyard . Goodbye Fav wrangler shirt.😢
franken hands ya other places sell wranglers too but it’s also sold at Walmart. Wrangler are sold in multiples places. But I think it’s better thrifted and I would find a lot of faded glory and did research and it’s sold at Walmart but the quality of those brands are so nice
I would love to see you do more "thrifting with us" with nonwhite and non-thin women. The thrifting community is incredibly diverse and it should be highlighted.
Such an original idea!
Naomi Ellsworth yessssssss! ❤️
@Naomi Ellsworth yes, it truly is but her friends perhaps are not, which is likely why you are what you see but yes, diversity would show many more style vibes and awesome combos!
you're going to make her go out and fine random minorities to filmed with lmao
Thats ridiculous, they can't help who they are! Should they gain 40 pounds and change their color? I appreciate them making a video regardless that they r skinny and Im overweight. I just bought 2 nice tops at a Thrift Store tonight for a total of 5 bucks, one looks brand new!!
Coury reminds me so much of Emilia Clarke.
Anyways, that sweater vest is cuuute.

thank you I hate when they do that

In love with Coury's flare for colour combinations, such a beautiful whimsical but grown up style. Love the Little Women inspo! X
I wish you two would collab again! I love seeing your two creative minds together
So fun! Great finds as usual! I love Coury's style and the way she wears pastels! So sad she didn't get the orange floral 70s maxi dress! I wanted for myself.

When coury picked you that peach colored 70s dress I screamed because I have that exact one that I found at a thrift store in the middle of nowhere Ohio (where I’m from) for 3 dollars. It just shows how small our little world is!
So crazy!
Wow . . . that is ah-mazing.
I feel genuine longing for that purple suit.

Princess Diana!!! What a sweet mama you have Coury! Love this
Just love you Beth, "I need them all!" that is so me 2!
I love your channel and have never commented but I have to say I’ve been thrifting and doing vintage clothes since my twenties and I’m now 60 and still love it, e bay just made it more commercial and accessible. Just wish we had as much access in the uk

I would love to see you using keep cups/reusable cups for your drinks to promote plastic free consumerism!
Awww....everything is so perfect!!
I follow Coury on Insta so it’s really exciting to see her personality through video!! Love it
Great video. The two floral, vintage dresses were AMAZING. I also loved the sweater vest Beth tried on.
I can’t believe how many great things you found. I haven’t seen a “thrift with me” this good in a very long time. So many great tips and dresses. And I’ve been looking for the perfect vintage suit for over a year, that one coury tried on is my dream.

Fun video! I wish Coury bought the flutter sleeve dress, it's so beautiful and I know she could have styled it so cute! Laove that leather jacket too!

Coury: “Don’t you love winter when you can wear socks.” ?!!?
Those of us here in Chicago are happy to get out of our socks in June!
With the exception of those strange guys who wear shorts in March...
Beth, your eyes look especially amazing in this.
The dress that Courey passed 16.16 gave a glympse of Zimmerman floral fabric designs collections then the red dress I might considered it wearing as a beach cover up with out the shoulder pads.. Beth I love you , your friend is adorable
The colour of that coat 14:05 is everything I’ve been hungry for lately
You guys found so many good things!!!
It was a crazy good day!
I don't love her "whimsy" style but I do love the neutral colored coat from Anthro!,
The Guatemalan jacket is hand woven by Mayan women . The material is called huipil. 😍
ahhh, I thrifted the same gap printed sleeve top..
That same leather jacket you tried on was at my local thrift store years ago for only ten bucks and I passed it up. Went back the next day and it was gone, of course!
Bummer!
Uggh been there. I passed on a pink suit and went back to get it and an hour later, gone!
That’s ok Coury ...you’ve got the look of an empress Now!
I could not help but laugh. The purple pants and green sweater I thought of that movie from the 80's called working girl with Melanie Griffith.
I love loveee your thrifting videos !!! 😍
Name a more iconic duo.....I’ll wait
Aw! Thanks Lauren!
You guys found some gems!!
I wonder if Savers has any re-useable coffee cups...:) ?
You ladies look fab! Love these relaxed series but skip the single use coffee cups and bring your own along! Or just get an even more fab sponsor for it?! Yay team thrift ✌🏽😎
There is not enough periwinkle in clothing. Also Coury is totally a Targaryen, face and hair.

Maybe ... But i had a Wrangler shirt when I was 6 years old back in 1980 and it didn't come from Walmart☺ I loved that shirt until one day it got tar on it from a house we were building for my grandparents in our backyard . Goodbye Fav wrangler shirt.😢
Yes! Good to know.
franken hands ya other places sell wranglers too but it’s also sold at Walmart. Wrangler are sold in multiples places. But I think it’s better thrifted and I would find a lot of faded glory and did research and it’s sold at Walmart but the quality of those brands are so nice
