Looking fantastic Anthony ! 😊👍🏼 Block work is definitely work to be proud of, especially as it’s your first bricky job…. 🏆 Your skimmer is also looking great, Matt is well under way with it too….. 👍🏼
Good progress Anthony, won’t belong before the fish are in. With those big windows it will look amazing. You should be proud of what you have accomplished. Stay safe and well 👍🏻
Your going to be so proud of yourself when it’s finished. Good choice on making the glass same depth and going for the deeper size, mine were 50cm deep and it’s not enough.
Interesting update Anthony 👍😊. Great progress considering you’re doing it all yourself👍. Blockwork is looking good, certainly much better than my first attempt 🤣😂. Looking forward to the next update👍😊
Instead of looking to get half a block on top maybe you could drop the recess down at the bottom or raise it up slightly to land on a full brick, don't forget to take into account the finishing edge on the top of your pond too and if you want the window to sit flush with the finishing edge or if you want the finishing edge to cover the top edge of the window thsts recessed. Love watching your videos, keep up the great progress
Get yourself some concrete commons and use them as the top course that should bring you to the level you need, looking good though and by the looks of it not long before it will be complete
@@KraftyKoi the other option then is go full height block and cast a concrete section in the area of the window opening will then give you the perfect height required

Can’t wait.
Great progress 👏 blockwork looks 👍 who needs a ricky lol, we feel your aches and pains 🤣
You’ve probably had it harder than me tbh.
@@KraftyKoi I dunno about that it's all a learning curve for all of us 👍
Yes!!! Looking great mate! And you done all the block work yourself that’s a big up! 👌🏻
Roll on the glassing, Matt will do a fantastic job 😁
Yeah Boy, I’m super happy with it as I’ve never built anything before…..ever.

Hi Karl, I’ve sourced a solution now. Thanks for your suggestions mate. I’m glad you enjoy them, plenty coming your way.
@@KraftyKoi glad you have managed to sort it out. Can't wait to see the Koi finally swimming in the new pond, it's going to look awesome
Project looking great pal
Cheers dude, still plenty to do but I am getting more and more excited as the each day passes.
Looking great mate
Thanks Dave, we’re getting there.

Thanks Aaron, I will look into them. 💪🏻
Looking good mate , have you looking into reinforcing the corners where the glass goes with block ties for strength 👍
Not yet, but I am now. 😂
Why not go the full block high and order the glass to fit the aperture ?
Because waiting times are astronomical mate. Going with standard sizes means only a three week waiting period rather than 8-12

Have you looked into getting it fibreglassed yet
Just had my new little pond done it was interesting to watch
All I can say is “Stay Tuned” 😉
Matt’s doing it. Best in the country.
