Paige is a very good coach!
Whenever I play a normal bunker shot now, my thought process is “dollar bill” & it’s genuinely transformed my bunker play. Her advice is clear, concise, impactful & visually memorable 🙂
Thanks Paige! I will be thinking “smash that ketchup on fried eggs from now on!

The "physics" involved in these bunker shots reminds me of when I was 9 years old and there was a big trout in a shallow stream. I picked up a huge river rock and threw it downwards behind the trout and the next thing I knew, the trout was flopping around up on the riverbank. I literally "blasted" the trout out of the stream. It was awesome! Took it home and ate it, Yum!

The sand shot from the back of the bunker is the one I have had trouble with, when on a steeper lie and did not roll down from the lip...Guess the best would have been to hit the ball side ways out...Thanks for the tips...

I would love to have a one to one session with you but with so many subscribers I have no chance. Also I am based across the pond. Keep up the great work and make time for fun as well as work. Good video Paige thanks for posting the most important plays when getting out of the bunker is knowing your stance and opening the clubface and of course extra power more than when your just off the green. Can you make a video of playing a shot when you''re behind a tree.

    Hi Paige,
I was definitely one who asked about bunkers, but my question, to me, was MORE scary than those. It was more of a two part question with an either or approach. I have seen a number of fairway and green side bunkers with HIGH STEEP walls that are almost straight up, and my question(s) was(were) is it possible to go up and over that wall if you are sitting at the base of it, or is it better to try and pitch out to the left or right to avoid that steep wall if you are sitting at its base? FYI: I'm talking about 3 Feet Plus in terms of the wall, though I've seen a few even higher than that.

Hard pan/no grass and short sided chips (with and without bunker in way. On back edge of fringe, against the rough. Not good at "equatoring" the ball with wedge. Any other suggestions?

Something for the future, embedded bunker shot in the wall of a pot bunker. The bunker is about 2 to 3 feet deep, what is your tip to handle all players nightmare on the golf course. Great job there.

  • @RodgerRamjet

i suck at sand shots.. i just always have.. oh, i can make it out mostly.. but, unlike the splash pro's, who rather be in sand than rough.... well, my backspin lacks big time, i tend to splash too much or too deep.. sand wedge, extra bounce deep wedge, pitching wedge in "hard sand"... which is mostly what cheap courses we flunkies are playing.. so maybe that is part of it ???
hard sand, vs, nice, clean, well maintained sand bunker..
like to see this same video, on a random series of cheap Public city courses, and if all the same wedges, angles ( 52, 54, 58 degrees, etc ) same bounce faces ( wide sand wedge vs standard pitch wedge ), all apply.😏😏😏
