We ran into this issue just this week and since it was a custom job i couldn’t figure out why it would have not started back up after it errored due to deployment. Your video gives me this idea to have that job of ours checked if retry is enabled on it or not. Thank you!

But wait, would it help in that case when the job stopped due to updates being deployed? The job had been running for years and only failed this once.

bro this video is useful but i don't understand when exactly i should use retryable batch .. is there other cases than sql connection lost ?
