This video shows how I fetrilize my hanging baskets. If you follow this program your hanging baskets and planters will look fresh and vibrant all summer long. They will look great and will give you the color and blooms that you desire.
This is easy to do but just takes some time and effort.

Monday fert, Tuesday water, Wednesday fert, Thursday water, Friday fert .. Sunday water. And SATURDAY WE MOW!
The Lawn Care Nut Hahaha! Lol when he said, "do whatever you want on Saturday." "Let me guess, I should be wearing gloves when I'm doing this?" His delivery is great! Hahaha Keep it up Connor.
I like the "It may not be the perfect way others do it, it's the way I do it"... good for you, keep doing what you do, how you do!
Exactly. I get it done and it works
It's a good thing you record and put this on UA-cam. That way people can tell you how to do it right, and point out all the things you are doing wrong. Good thinking. :)
Yeah... That is the only reason I do it.
I used this formula last year when I found it on the lawn care forum when you posted it. Works great. Thank you for the recommendation!
You are welcome. Yes it does work well.
My wife has been using this formula since this video. Her flowers look AMAZING!
So nice to hear that. It really does work well.
@@lawnrebel I never knew you had the North Korean vd dip,🤣🤣🤣. You might want to have that looked at Connor. Also 1/3 potting soil or compost 1/3 sand oh boy I said sand, yes sand & 1/3 peat moss. Guess what the peat moss does for you Connor 😏 it retains water.
Your lawn looks PERFECT!!!!
Omg, you spilled some on the grass!!!! 😦 bahahaha loosen the ties people! Lawn Rebel does what he wants, when he wants! Keep on keeping on brother. This was great info. We just added hanging baskets to our front porch.
Yeah I spilled some on the carpet... shoot me.
Trying these out this year 👍
You won't be disappointed if you follow the schedule
Thank you Connor, I showed the wife this video and she is up for it!
Cool. It is easy to do and totally worth it. Do not skip the wetting agent.
I love that you blast the safety sallys
Yeah they deserve to be BLASTED. They are Debbie downers.
thanks for recommending this video when we spoke at the meet up in SLC!
Yes Sir.... Bad to the Bone lol ! Congratulations Connor on surpassing 10K subscribers. Keep up the good work!!!
Thank you Denis. The 10k is surprising to me
I use the Beat Your Neighbor stuff for all my baskets and pots. Can't go wrong with it as it has chelated iron in it which is what petunias need to not go leggy on you - that and routine clipping.
BEAUTIFUL LAWN MAN
BRAWNDO! "Has what plants crave!"
It has electrolytes
Hey Connor, do you use this same program for your plants in the ground? I'm excited to watch your 2020 adventures in the lawn.
Did you just mix fertilizer on the carpet??????? Great video as usual Connor!
Yes. I did mix it up on the carpet. Ha ha
Sound like you need an EZ-FLO injector for those container drip zones! Constant fertilization (at a 1/4 - 1/2 rate of the weekly feed rate) with every watering and then flush out with clean water once a week. Will save you a ton of time. Since you are using 20-20-20, you honestly probably don't need the high phos fert at all; can probably get same results with 20-20-20 all summer. But, it is always nice if you have the time.
That would be nice for sure. The barrier with these awesome toys is always $
yup! very true
You’re giving away our secrets maaannn!
Yeah... Someone told me about it. So there you go. I'm sure your planters are looking great
3:00 But that LAWN tho! 😍
Thanks. I do love to be in the lawn
Man I love watching all these videos, I thought I was into my grass bigtime, but you my friend are on another level. Keep the great videos coming. Looking forward to the next one.
Good stuff conner
Congrats on 10k subs
Thanks
Connor versus Ryan
Connor: Mix it and pour it.
Ryan: a 3,000 step and 17 hour video just on mixing.
“Let me guess, I should be wearing gloves for this....” or a hazmat suit😜
Connor, how much water are you giving each of your plants? I understand your putting water down everyday so would I be correct in assuming your only giving a cup or so for each plant to “drink” until the next watering.
3:09 Why is it bad to put the end of the hose down into the water?
corrosive solution will rust it very quickly
10K Subs! 90K more to go, you can do it!
Yeah... "Connor Ward.... you just hit 100k subscribers. What are you going to do next? I'm going to Disney World"
you are awesome!
What is the mixing ratio for the Hydretain application? 2 oz. per gallon of water?
Hey man I find it far cheaper and far less work to Simply replace my hanging baskets once mid-year because they're only $9.99 each. I have an active son n little time.
Is there a better way to add the Hydretain to directly to the hanging plants and planters tried it didn’t like how it was applied was real foamy didn’t know if you premix it in a bucket please any help would be great
Can you show us your garden hose reel setup on the post in the flower bed?
Yes. I plan to
Looks like a Eley Hose Reel
Can you use this on seedlings? Looking at starting cut flowers from seed soon. Thanks!
I wouldn't. Too fragile that young.
Was it a coincidence that this video was posted at the exact same time as the White House's Kim Jon Ung video?
Hmmmmm. This has got me thinking...
Nope. No coincidence
Just watched your lawn leveling with sand and your homemade c-channel drag. Can you give the materials used to build it?
Here you go. I am pretty sure the steel was 1.5 inches photos.app.goo.gl/Oqzi1YsQY6ulglrt1
Drip irrigation with an inline fertilizer. You've got the system already.
Man that would be a great addition. $ seems to be the barrier.
Connor Ward Do you use a manifold for the 1/4 hoses or do you tap off of a 1/2" line for each? I finally got sick of fert. the baskets manually so I rigged this up cheap, $40 total after a few PVC unions. So far working well throw 3 tablespoons in per feeding. Granted I have a manifold system for the drip but it could be used for both methods.
Raindrip R605DT "Y" Filter and Fertilizer Applicator, 3/4-Inch, 1 Per Box www.amazon.com/dp/B0007WO6C4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_c7siBbM5XWWPH
I have the half inch poly pipe that comes from drip valve. I then tap into the half inch line with the quarters inch feed tubes. Pvc under ground from valve to above ground. Once above ground the pvc converts to a half inch poly line that feeds the quarter inch feed lines.
It would be pretty easy to retro fit. Just hook it up with 3/4" to 1/2" NPT fittings to where the 1/2" poly pipe starts on each run. I've been using it for a month now so no long term feedback but so far so good. Sure beats manually fert all of my baskets and annuals and gets everything 100% on the irrigation system, plus a lot cheaper than the more expensive options. Each of my drippers puts out about 2.5 gallons of water on the 7am 10 minute cycle. So I put 3 table spoons of 10-54-10 in each fertilizer with a flexible funnel.
How's that berry garden going boss? In one of your previous videos I remember you doing some pruning.
I will show it. The blossoms are on and the berries are staring to grow.
Hey Connor! Since this video is a few years old I was just wondering if you still use this product on your flowers? Also I'm wondering if I only had a small amount of flowers to feed, could I make the mixture and keep it in a bucket? rather than make it new every day? thanks
Absolutely I do
How much do you spend on your lawn?
too much. I would like to not add it up.
can you have a good looking lawn without fertilizing it ???
I'd venture to say no on that one.
If you don't have a vacuum breaker at your hose bib (outside faucet) you could be drinking your fertilizer
Dude that's a lot of carrying water around. I use a watering can to mix my feet. Sure look pretty walking around the yard with a waiting can.
Watering can is too small. Too much time mixing
How does this program work for perennials?
Just dump it on the same. Likely will not need it as often. The perennials do not bloom all season so that really is not going to change.
looks drinkable... does it taste well?
Not really. It is good but not something I'd recommend.
