Nice Dennis. I actually like working on lever drags. That old international 30 is still kicking my butt. It may be coming your way if I can't get it right for trolling this summer.
Hi Dennis - - - One thing about this fishing reel that strikes me to say the cranking handle don't seem to fit the reel I could be wrong but to me it's kind of too big, once you opened it there sure was a lot of old gummy grease - but as you did a complete service it's working nicely - good video .
Love your vids, been watching for some time. Was curious if you have ever done a video on the Penn Fathom 25NLD2 reel. Seems like this one is pretty popular in my area and was curious. Thank you for all your helpful tips and breakdowns. I really appreciate the ones you did on Avets.
I haven't done that one. I did one on the Fathom 15LD, but that is a single speed reel. You can watch that here ua-cam.com/video/jGln9f7YG9w/v-deo.html Thanks for asking Dennis
Plus these little reels have crazy drag so with the strength of braid they have to be built like tanks makes companies use quality components throughout no weak links
You earned your money on this one Dennis .
Yes I did. Thanks Bobby
Beautiful job on what could be a difficult reel. - Chris
Thanks Chris

That handle was a replacement leverage handle. The ones shipped with the reel are more in proportion. Thanks

I do not have that video. Thanks for asking - Dennis
Judging by color and your comment about sticky grease, I'd guess that's marine axle grease.
I do think it was some kind of axle grease - Thanks Ward
Thanks, you make it clear how it is done.
YW - thanks for the note and for watching - Dennis
