    Looking good there! Mine's a 2016 in white with Akrapovic slip on. Just a tip for you for the ram fork stem mount. Remember to pull it out every now and then and spray the inner fork tube with an anti corrosive such as rock oil. They are prone to corrosion from water being trapped around the ram mount insert.

    Such a nice bike.
    I ride a '94 Honda Magna but I am entertaining the idea of a second bike and for that the VFR800 is a top contender. Watching this video makes me want one even more.

    Awesome dude. Man you do love your viffer. Mine or more or less still stock with some minor adjustments , i'm waiting for my dream bike which is the yamaha FJR 1300AE. That looks amazing for 24,000km - you have taken damn good care of it - so sorry you cant ride atm. You would love the number plates here they are half the size of your smaller one. Stay safe bro.

      Hope to be riding soon, but this virus it´s causing some real damage in western europe and the lockdown will continue at least in April in many countries 😕

    Liked most of your mods but I think you should put back the Honda reflectors that you removed from the front forks. They are there for safety reasons and removing them does not really improve the look of the bike. So why? A worthwhile safety mod is to add some LED DRLs (daylight running lights).
    Your bike looks great. Well done.

    • @V4Rider
      @V4Rider  3 роки тому

      Well for me it does improve the looks and I don't usually ride at night.. the bike has led lights front and back, I think its enough 😁

    Out of curiosity, how much did the 24 000 k service cost? I love my ‘09 VFR, flawless performance but . . . had the valves adjusted at 60 000 kilometers and let’s put it this way, I’m glad we’re born with two kidneys!

    • @V4Rider
      @V4Rider  4 роки тому

      I didnt do the valves check... the bike it's running strong and without issues or wierd noises. Most VFR owners do that service and the valves are on spec always... maybe when I hit 60k I'll check them ✌
      Btw for a normal service I pay around 100€

    • @UncleWally3
      @UncleWally3 4 роки тому

      @@V4Rider In Canada, at least where I live, a full service with valve adjustment plus pads and plugs, will run upwards to $1300 cdn (845 €) about triple the price of my other bikes. In my opinion, worth every penny. There are people who will do it for less, but I do believe they’re presently incarcerated.

    • @V4Rider
      @V4Rider  4 роки тому

      @@UncleWally3 A full service like that in a Honda dealer should be around that price... I'm doing the 36k soon... oil, oil filter, air filter and maybe new chain and sprockets.. 350-400€... the things is that VFRs are hard to work on, so I prefer take her to my mechanic 😁✌

    • @UncleWally3
      @UncleWally3 4 роки тому

      @@V4Rider Exactly. My competent and trustworthy mechanic (not working at a dealership) tells me the ‘09 VFR I happen to own is very reliable and to keep it that way simply requires following the maintenance schedule. The bike has performed flawlessly over 60 000 kilometers so . . . time and distance will tell. The cost of ownership of other bikes I’ve owned has been much higher (BMW RT) and much lower (Suzuki V-Strom), the VFR is somewhere in the middle. Where the VFR has arbitrarily cost more is getting the most of the engine (full exhaust system, Power-commander V, dynotuned, etc) - the stuff many owners do. Also, of all the bikes I’ve owned, the VFR demands very careful - IE expensive - tire choice. Still, I do believe the VFR is a “real world” masterpiece and cheap at the price; every biker ought to give one a shot.

    As far as i am concerned, your bike is full stock. Also these are not mods. Mods would be after market wheels, master cylinders, calipers, discs, brake lines, suspension, clip-ons, triple clamps, ecu tunes, air filters, rear sets. Changing to chinese cnc levers, an exhaust and windshields are not mods.

    A moto está um brinco👌, muitos parabéns. 👊👍
    Como já disse, estou a pensar comprar uma este Verão, acho a moto muito equilibrada.
    Para mim, a Honda, na VFR, 800, continua a insistir em duas situações que não compreendo, a suspensão dianteira não ser invertida e a potência continuar nos 100cv.
    Para uma 800 é uma potência escassa, a Honda poderia facilmente pôr esse motor com 140 ou 150cv. Daria ainda muito mais prazer conduzi - la.

    • @V4Rider
      @V4Rider  4 роки тому +2

      Obrigado companheiro!
      Esta VFR tem 107cv de origem, com escape talvez uns 110cv.. chega bem para o tipo de moto que é! Dá para ter um bom prazer de condução mesmo em andamentos mais rápidos.
      Muita gente diz o mesmo da suspensão dianteira, mas nada tenho a apontar, dá para regular totalmente e a Showa criou-a de propósito para esta moto. Muitas das motos partilham componentes entre si e a maior parte das vezes nem são ajustadas para tal...
      Abraço e boa compra ✌

      @@V4Rider A última moto que tive, foi uma Suzuki Bandit 1200, sei que vou sentir saudades daquele motor a "diesel" 😂 10 Nm às 4000rpm😆. Essa moto era uma autêntica "manta de retalhos" motor da GSXR/F 1100, suspensões da RF-900 etc...
      Uma moto que gosto muito é a Yamaha MT -10, a moto é espectacular, mas, para o uso que eu quero dar, não serve. Viagens com pendura.

      @@V4Rider Sim...é uma excelente moto, exclui essa mota por 3 razões; é feia que dói, (para mim claro) o lugar para o pendura é muito pequeno e finalmente, nunca fui muito adepto de Kawazaki.
      As motos da Kawazaki são horríveis. Estão com uma estética muito muito duvidosa.
      Neste momento, acho que a Yamaha é a líder em termos de tecnologia de motos de estrada, gosto muito também da estética de alguns modelos, as MT 09 e 10 e a XSR 09 estão fabulosas.
