Honda is taking the absolute piss when it comes to pricing, and the CR-V e:PHEV is a prime example. £54K for a Honda SUV is crazy money - yes, I understand the PHEV drivetrain demands a price premium - however, for £54K, it’s only front-wheel drive. It does have great gas mileage, and has a lot of good gadgets and interior space, but for me, it’s not worth the astronomical price tag together with the lack of AWD. I would prefer to get the strong hybrid CR-V, or a similarly equipped Toyota RAV4 Prime for less money.
In australia the top end is only 57k AUD.. which is about 30k GBP. I don't know why they decided to fk you guys over lol
@@PavaNeo Note that Australia doesn’t get the PHEV. The PHEV is only available in Europe and China.
But anyway, the top range strong hybrid sold in the UK is over £48K, which is AWD.
