- Опубліковано 26 тра 2022
- After many requests, the first day of Summer 2022 was finally the day I stopped to make a tutorial video for all to use. I hope this helps you create something wonderfully unique for your students and that you can share it with the rest of the music education community as well. #Boomwhackers #Synthesia

you are an absolute legend for all the tracks you have created
Thank you so much!
Awesome tutorial! My elementary students absolutely loved all the songs you have posted. It made complex songs especially accessible to our students with special needs. Keep up the good work Sir! 😎✌️🎶
You’re a musical and technical genius! Thank you for all your hard work. You made it so accessible and easy for my students.
Thank you so much for this video & all you do! I discovered your channel right at the tail end of the year, which gives me an entire summer to learn how to make follow along songs for my kids! You're a hero!
Thank you for this. I couldn't figure out what you were doing to change the colors. This imediatly cleared it up!
Wow! Amazing job!!!
That's very creative! Thanks for sharing.
Wow! That is a lot of work! Thank you for spending all of the time making so many videos.
It's an absolute joy to see the impact!
I am now in even more awe or your work! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
Thank you so much. This is incredibly useful!
Thank you so much for this! I needed this crash course. I've had a couple of projects in mind for my students that I couldn't figure out how to make videos for, and now I think I can finally get them done!
Esto es justo lo que necesitaba!!!! Muchísimas gracias, Swick, desde Madrid!!!
Thanks man. Very enlightening vid.
Man thanks so much for sharing!!!
I tried out some of your videos with my 1st-5th grade students this week and it was the most fun I've (they've) had in a while! We began with the descending warm-up, then tried Hakuna Matata. So much fun! My older students did Thunder and they LOVED it. Thanks so much for your generosity!
Thank you so much for this comment! It makes all of the work a joy when I hear about student success.
OBS and Synthesia - great ideas, thanks!
Thank you very much :-) Really great tutorial and awesome idea.
Oh thank goodness! I've been trying to figure this out forever haha. Thank you for sharing!
I can't wait to see what you come up with!
My students love your videos and we extend it with unpitched percussion elements. Thank you!!!!
That's awesome! I'd love to hear about your students' favorite non-pitched stuff!
@@SwicksClassroom depends on the genre and grade but keeping tempo on maracas, egg shakers, and the occasional guiro!
Woah - This is such a long process!! Thanks for all you do - my students and I absolutely love your videos.
I wish there was a faster way but the response from the community made it at all worth it!
Ditto what Amber said! My special needs music class loves your videos! Thank you for your time and putting these together!!
@@susansmith1834 That makes my heart so happy to hear!
Thanks
Thank you so much! I greatly appreciate your support!
Hello! Thank you for this tutorial! I'm about to finish up my first year as a music teacher teaching my littles and I've been looking up how to create some original content to help my kids next year! Would you ever be available soon to have a zoom call and talk about your process more in-depth? I'd appreciate the help!
re: Synthesia app
Is the example shown in your tutorial (simple falling tic-tacs) possible using the FREE version of Synthesia or does it require the paid ($39) version? I would not use it enough to justify the $39.
Love the mixed ensemble idea at the end.
Thanks so much for the video! By chance do you know how you recorded the boomwhacker sound but not the metronome sound? Thank you!
I wore headphones so that the microphone could not hear the metronome.
Great job! I want to make a few ukrainian songs for kids, it will be very helpful.
I'd be happy to help if you need more guidance!
@@SwicksClassroom Must tell you, that your way of Falling notation for Boomwhacker is the most understandable for kids
you legend! But i am kinda pulling my hair out here, i´ve got everything up untill changing the colours of the tic tacs, i am sitting here with Final cut pro anyone else working in Final cut ? How do you do this in final cut pro ? Thanks again
UA-cam search "chroma key final cut pro." I don't use the software but I'm positive there is a chroma key function. Whatever removes the green of a green screen will do the trick.
Is there a way to do this without a midi keyboard? Like just input a track?
Absolutely! You can click in the notes you want!
How do I change the piano boomwhacker using soundtrap? I am talking about roughly in @0:58 of the video.
To my knowledge, Soundtrap doesn't allow sampling. But you could record each boomwhacker once and then copy and paste the audio where you want it.
