I’m f2p and my only use for him is in the pit raid, I don’t have the zeta on him yet but even without it I can get so many more turns with him which increases the time I have fracture up and it makes it so much easier

Kinda not worth it in my opinion since DR's lead says that if you don't have all members in the team from sith empire you lose 50% dmg 🤷♂️

Unlimited Power: cooldown of 5. Palaptine shoots lightning at 1 opponent, killing them instantly and dealing 50% damage to himself.
Dazll MAD why would they buff another ftp character. That would be “too expensive”
Any math wizards know what 50% of instant kill is? I wanna know how many health mods I should farm for Palpatine without sacrificing Accuracy
but who is better then palpatine? answer, luke. they will rework luke to make him have an ability called yeet the emperor. instantly kill target enemy and kill all empire allies and enemies.
GL Vader should have an ability where he lifts one character up for a few turns and must be targeted, and when he would supposedly die he instantly kills the lifted up character and himself, and deals massive damage to the other characters

With all the bonuses he gets when attacking people with dots, I've been running Canderous with Vader.

You can't expect him to show every possible combination. It's just proof of a concept

This rework is definitely my favorite. My Darth Vader was my 1st for every new upgrade in the game. He was my 1sr g12, relic, and relic 7. Finally Iget to enjoy some dark side ❤

I would like to see Vader footage against non GLs. I still haven't faced GLs...and likely won't for a long time, so it would be good to see how he stacks up to Padme, GG, GAS, etc. teams...particularly at non Relic 7 levels...likely won't be able to get him above 5 for a very long time

Man I thought i'd wasted the zeta on vader's lead all that time ago when I wanted to solo the rancor for the first time way back. Then it helped me solo the tank raid and now it's making a come back for pvp. Awesome!

I just used Vader under a Palp lead to do it's normal work of cleaning up Nightsister teams. However, instead of a 55 banner win and a scary series of plagued turns, Vader took almost all of them out before they even got a turn. Asajj got one turn, which she wasted on the buff dispel/heal. Easy 60 banners now. I'm still gearing and farming my Empire characters so I can get prepared to see more GLs, as it's the only counter I'm even close to having ready... As always, thanks for the content!
I don’t have Wat Tambor. I use: Palp Lead, Vader, DRevan, DSBast, Malak. It is SO MUCH FUN!!!
This rework is so good you can beat a lot of teams and punk for the GAC history. Toss in something like an Ewok, C3P0, or go for the gusto with CUP.
I don't have DR or Malak. So much for that idea. lol
I love Pal lead. I'm much lower and don't even have a relic yet, but with Pal lead and Vader's new Zeta I keep below 500 in squad arena and can actually counter lower Geo teams. So yeah I really like Pal lead too

Yeah, I had not played since Qui Gon Jinn Lead was meta, Vader update brought me back
I've been criticizing CG for ages but I must say the Vader rework was one of the best things to ever happen in SWGOH in addition to the GG rework, clones rework, and the addition of GAS (yes, you can argue GAS was pretty P2W when he came out but he could be beaten by Padme pretty easily in my experience and introduced a GAS > DR > Padme > GAS rock paper scissors meta, and also Anakin is a legend so of course he should be super powerful). It's only appropriate for arguably the most iconic character in Star Wars to be powerful. Yeah, in order him to exhibit his "max power" he probably needs Wat Tambor (who isn't -that- easily accessible) but Wat is a fair character that you can't simply whale to get to 7* since he's time-gated and is so much easier to get 7* than the GL requirements.
Also, out of curiosity, what mods do you have on Nihilus? Potency? And what about Vader? Are you focusing on Offense, Crit Chance (for the Culling Blade), or Potency for the DoTs

Fortunately I haven't come up against any GL in arena, I'm usually between 100 and 50 and it's mostly darth revan, padme and sometimes general skywalker, I would like to know some teams that use Vader for countering these teams.

I use Vader in a Sith team, along with Palpatine as the leader, Maul, Nihilus, and Savage. Im a F2P guy and these Sith seemed to be easier to , get then the rest.

Currently working on my Vader team..!!! Slapped the new zeta on him and got him to gear 12.3..have relic 4 papa palp, 12.3 thrawn and I’ll hopefully have probe droids zeta in the next two days....my only thing is I don’t have sherry but I’ve got death trooper at 11.3 so i think I’ll work on him a little bit..!!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I wonder if you put ashoka fulcrum with rey if it would stop that counter. Bc with enough buffs ashoka fulcrum basically has an annihilate. And she is immune to damage over time

Giving Rey a buff would definitely cause less outrage than nerfing Vader, though frankly I don’t see the issue considering Vader does well on offense, but not nearly so well on defense.

I wish we could see battles of it with teams that have JKR in it. He gives me the most trouble for this counter, and Rey/JKR/Wat/GAS/Kenobi is the meta in my shard.

Would a Vader lead with Thrawn, Shoretrooper, Krennic and Death Trooper be a good team?
If Rex (always him) is in the Rey team, things get complicated because of the tenacity up. I dont see a way to beat it with vader without han to stun rex. If rex and wat are with rey, u gotta stun rex and then the adv wat does his taunt thing... seems to be the hardest rey team for vader to deal with, agree admiral?
Ahnald, how did you mod JKA for Padme team?
I've been able to take out the empire teams with my Shaak - clones, he took 7 turns in a row but once I get the dispells off and TM going I can clear the teams ... As a lowly 2mil player
My Vader/empire teams do not work. Get pummeled by Jedi teams. I have Thrawn relic 6 and all zetas, Vader at level 12 and all zetas, veers, and have been pulling Kylo unmasked as a tank for taunt. They are unstoppable in Galactic, but get owned in squad and championship. Any recommendations? I don’t fully understand mods and am wondering if changes need to be made there. Great videos, tips, and recommendations, by the way. It honestly adds to my enjoyment of the game.
I wasnt paying attention and accidentally gave vader the wrong mods. Now i have defense primary and random set mods all sliced and upgraded up but no real mods to use yet lol

I got 16 turns because of palpatine lead on darth vader but u have to be lucky if last calling blade u are throwing kill a person and you have to start with force crush

I think that lore-wise, it makes sense that Vader would demolish Rey. She may be a Galactic legend, but Vader was a trained sith, who took out the entire Jedi temple.

Do you think that Merciless Vader G13 is viable with Wampanator (G13Z R3), Carth (G12Z), Canderous (G12Z) and Sith Empire Trooper (G12) is a viable Tier 1 team? It's hard against Clones and Jedi due to the high tenacity not landing DOT's, any suggestions for substitutions?
Wouldn’t it be better to use merciless massacre after the force crush so the culling blade does more damage?
