Charge pipe. Before you put any more power at all change that. The factory ones are garbage and will definitely crack over time, that is if you have an f10
Then I’d move to intercooler, down pipe, intake, exhaust, and boom, your ready for a pretty decent tune. Just be sure all your seals and what not are good before you start putting down more boost
Charge pipe is not that necessary on f10 535. Running my manual 2011 535 for about 2 years on stock charge and I have chip tuning (always first from the light and doing hard pulls almost every drive). It looks there is no speed limit on stick 535 as I was able to rich 150mph before good road ended.
It’s a 155 mph limiter. I have the same car FBO & Charge pipe included on MHD stage 2+ Took the speed limiter off & was able to go over 155. In Mexico of course

Was the old turbo and new turbo the same size ?? And if the stock turbo was built I could get just build the stock turbo on mine instead of buying a new tubro if there the same size

@@CarGeeks I got from your speech that the car is generally good and you won't suffer from it cuz there some cars. Even if u still take care of it, still everything on it goes wrong like 7 series so hopefully, f10 will be reliable

Hey I’m going fbo on my 535i and plan on getting new rims because I just don’t like the oem ones and idk if I should get 19 inch rims or go for 20 inch rims would it be a bad thing?

Did you have to upgrade fuel system? Or is this just DP, intercooler, tune, and turbo?

Same size shell yes. But we bored out the inside and put a bigger compressor wheel.

I can’t tell you the most common issue but I can tell you as long as you take care of the maintenance you will be fine.

My stocks where 19 I got the M5 wheels which are 20 I like them better as the ride is much smoother
