Changed the name about a decade ago. (Curley)Byrd was removed from the stadium because of his segregationist views and racist past. He didn't allow blacks into the university and on athletic teams until the mid 50s. SECU is a bank sponsor. But it's just Maryland Stadium now
@@AirRaid1196 WAS Maryland Stadium. When SECU took over as the sponsor from Capital One in 2022, they got the rights to name the stadium. Officially it is SECU Stadium now.
