Hey Conan, great videos! Thanks for taking the time to do this for us. Would you able to make a video of how to study during residency? More of resources, books, websites. Thanks!
Hey Conan, I think my issue with Anki is that after a collection of a whole bunch of pearls from rounds, missed questions from Qbank, and generalized knowledge, there's just so much cards I end up going through. How do you sort, organize, and finish all the cards you end up creating?
Hi Brian, generally when I am reviewing for an exam I make a lot more cards and so that inherently means I will have more to review. However, once I've gotten through the exam prep phase I usually make cards less often and I find the amount of cards I need to review subsequently drops off quite a bit as well. How many cards are you having to review / what is your rate of making cards currently?
Yeah! My biggest strategy is usually I read the first sentence, then the last 1-2 sentences, and then the answers. Reading the answers early is really helpful because then I can already have an idea of what kind of information I think will be pertinent once I'm looking at the full question stem, and can start ruling out some answers already as I read the full thing in-depth a little bit more. It helps a lot for any of those long question stems you might see! For shorter questions I typically just read it normally.

Which anki deck you recommend to use in the intern year??
I like making my own cards and I recommend it if you are willing to try! :)
