I think my favourite part of the video was when you did the control pannel for the bed with all those buttons and then changed your mind about how many it should have. like 'nah, this bed wouldn't really have that much functionality' as if there was as story behind the design and not random buttons to look cool lol

Thanks for sharing this, it's really inspirational and encouraging and shows where my flaws are with these types of modular designs. awesome work!

If you have some request for isometric scenes, or some ideas, I would be glad to make them

Could you make a rendering tutorial for such isometric scenes, please?

Is rhat supposed to be a good topology? There are things like the rounded pannels (that first looks like windows) thta I always considered wrong to get done

Probably not good, focus is more on quick modeling and getting render that looks good as fast as possible.

Actually, I just watched video again. Topology is not bad, but some parts have some extra loops and nurbs, other than that, not bad :-)

@@polygonmonkey yeah, dont get me wrong most of it is a super clear and nice topology, just certain stuff like 0:21 "chamfer" generated doubts to me... (actually creating those N-gons on the frame) Im just wondering to what point is that ok, acceptable or wrong... that is the kind of stuff that ussually is a pain to me... (being force to redistribute that shape with quads) I waste lots of time that way and it forces you to increase polycount... this video made me wonder if maybe I pay too much attention to something not that much required. :D
thx for the reply, Is not ussual on a vid posted years ago.

@@BioClone yeah, that could be done better, but if you only need render, no need to waste time on that... If I did something like that for customer, and they also wanted 3d model, that would be all clean with nice quad topology
