- Today, I spent $100usd in Medellin, Colombia. It almost felt disrespectful seeing as how little you really can live off here. However, I did buy a few necessity items! I hope this gives viewers a general idea at how much stuff costs from small local shops to large scale malls. Comment what you all would like to see next!

Thank you all!
I'm loving your videos! You've got a chill vibe.
And those cheap grocery prices are amazing!
Thank you so much brother! It is quite funny because coming here, people think that eating out is cheap.. then they go to the grocery store!
cool video made me feel as if i was there tagging along for the experience 😎
Dude this is totally perfect it shows with real people are doing. I got something that I really want to know because I've been in contact with someone down there and they're telling me oh no I need $50 a week to live on just for food. Plus they have to pay for their moms food. I'm being lied to.
i dont know.. it's not unheard of. i'm pretty frugal, mainly cook at home and try not to rappi more than once a week, and i typically spend a little over 50 a week. I'm not feeding a family, and i typically just eat one meal a day. that said i absolutely could live off of 25 a week here, if i had to.
I agree with Sam Austin, love your vibe and fun personality and that's why I'm watching your content, I know soon you will have more followers, Thanks for loving my country Colombia 🇨🇴 greetings from USA 🇺🇸 ❤ ✌️
Cam. Loving the videos. Super interesting prices and loving the food too! You should go out to a fancy restaurant.
Great Vid bro.🔥
Great video. I love shopping at D1.
Thanks for watching! I glanced at your channel, your thumbnails are perfect. I am taking notes.
Interesting approach!
I am still trying to get use to camera positioning. Some parts of the video, my camera was charging so I had to keep it close to my satchel. Hopefully there wasn't any boogers in my nose.
@@gunghogringo ha! By “Angle “, I meant the topics approach..I changed the word now..
now please wipe your nose! 😁
This was a good video man! I actually gave you a couple views on this one because I watched it on the TV first and then pulled it up on here to comment haha but something I meant to ask you on the last one was could you show what exchanges look like for USD to COP and also do you know of places for when I get to Colombia I figured I’ll start asking the guys so I can exchange my dollars fairly fast :) I plan to only really rely on cash except for unavoidable fees like tickets and that kind of stuff!
Thank you brother! The bank or ATM I use is DaVienda (I think that is what it is called). This seems the easiest to navigate and you're able to decline the conversion rate and retain a lot of your exchange total. If you can, shoot me a message on Instagram and I can lead you in the best direction for when you arrive! :)
@@gunghogringo no problem at all bro I really like these types and it really show cases well how far the US dollar can go in Latin and central American countries :D also so do I need a cedula to get one of those accounts or could I do it even if I’m only over for a month or two?
Also unfortunately I don’t use IG and I do have a FB but I don’t really use it anymore, it’s been a lot of years haha I made some lifestyle choices back in the day and they wound up getting me to the spot where I can travel now and I’ll share some more into that when we meet because it’s interesting to a lot of people but is a personal type of thing haha but is there another way to contact maybe idk if you have a burner email or something like that but I have my gmail hooked up to here obviously so I can get notifications and stuff but I use Snapchat and Reddit and I guess I’m really not too opposed to making an Ig eventually because I plan on making content at some point for UA-cam myself and talking with anotner expat out there about that some more but I suppose just let me know what’s easier for you or if you use one of those platforms and I can give you my username (but I’m pretty sure you already can guess it just add whatever’s applicable to the name I have on here haha)
@@masedogg98 You can shoot me an email, to my business email. Should be on my about page!
@@gunghogringo thank you bro I appreciate the work around haha I might still wind up making an instagram sometime in the future but for now I’m happy with how I’m getting around online :D
I’ll definitely shoot an email over sometime this weekend I’ve just had a lot going on this week but no worries I’m still staying up to date on you guys videos I just finished the one about using the public transpo and navigating Medellín but man that’s not boring at all that’s helpful useful stuff everyone else usually jumps over! It was a good video for sure 💪🏻🥳🎉
Damn less than 7 dollars on 2 big homemade plates, thats unreal,
Keep representing the good ol US&A

@@milaneso1968 You mean the huge hill?
@@gunghogringo obvio😎 or if you cant skate it record some of the guys
Loving you vids. Just keep showing the local non tourist stuff. I plan on coming down for a few months. However I want to stay out in the country like a small village somewhere. Haven't found anyone showing that part of Columbia. How safe would that be?
That actually is doable and can be very safe. It all depends on the place you want to stay! A lot of research must go into it and certain questions should be asked. Do you want a village that has cell service or do you want to be away from EVERYTHING?
Either. Backpacker Ben and Mr. Bald went through some interesting looking places just off the Amazon.
What’s up Cameron, nice video I was there in Medellin 2 Month ago creating content and will go back next week so maybe we can meet up. I enjoy Medellin the culture the food and that’s why I’m going back to work on more videos.
Thank you brother. Hope all is well with you! I'd be down to grab a bite and chat. Let me know when you're back!
@@gunghogringo awesome I’ll def let you know 👍🏼
What’s up Cameron, this coming Tuesday afternoon sounds good to meet up and grab something to eat and chat?
@@Rollerstyletv25 I’m down. Send me a message on Instagram brother!

Rotisserie chicken’s here are so so good. I had one, two nights ago, for dinner!

Your shopping companion looks like a 12 year old boy next to you Cam.
It sure doesn’t help that I look about 35.
All the juice!

ayo....how do you find your assistants?
Hey! I’m not sure what you mean. The guy filming is my friend.
Did you have a good time in Envigado?
Claro que sí. Es el mejor!

Serious question: How many Colombian dudes have nose rings?
Too many to count on one hand. I feel like it has been at least 80 percent of dudes in their twenties. It caught me off guard when I first got here.
