The Training Facility can invite trainers from the Police Forces of Russia, China, Hong Kong, maybe even North Korea. There really wasn't anything else NY City needed that $225,000,000 for anyway though they could have used it to replenish their reserves for paying judgements for crimes committed by their Police Department. New York City has paid more than $500 million in police misconduct settlements over the past six years, including nearly $115 million in 2023, according to an analysis of city data released by the Legal Aid Society

Since about 1916, Mandates were established by France and Britain, while semi-autonomous governments were formed - which later became Nations with UN Recognition. Since nationhood & institutions have long been consolidated - it would not be feasible to change this back!

Beside the UN is a misnomer, there is no such thing as “United” nations, with the most powerful members have veto rights to reject any proposed treaty that would not be in the interests of one of these members. The most recent vote on the establishment of a sovereign nation of Palestine is a clear example of this. The UN is a toothless house cat, not even a tiger.
PS Turkey just announced the possibilities of joining BRICS. Sounds perhaps like hot air, but who knows. Have you seen Erdogan’s recent comments? He did not look to pleased to say the least.

I think that's because although I'm sure our Western goverments have interests on the conflicts in the other countries, the atrocities in Palestine is being overtly funded and supported by our goverments. That is what has driven the protests, as its somewhere that we expose the rottenness of our systems and can push for change.

Thank you to all at Democracy Now for the great great news coverage you all provide. It is honest and straight forward. Imho. And i must add that on such a news program as this that Amy Goodman represents what really good news journalism. And i think she is just beautiful too.
I am not sure but i was thinking back to when i was younger not a big news watcher but it was on in my home growing up. I was thinking how news casters represented as far as i knew broadcastst could be relied upon and respected. I have not felt that way in a long time now as an older adult. I was thinking of persons like Walter Krokite especially. Not to compare him but i feel that all at Democracy Now hold a responsibility and respect for their viewers and it shows. Reminds me if broadcasters like a Walter Kronkite. I just want you all at D.N. to know i really appreciate all of your efforts all of them to share these truths of what is going on in the very troubled world we are living in now.
