Yep! 👍🏻 I can’t agree more. Folks over the border can’t afford to buy fire wood ($350+ per 6x4 trailer load) to keep warm over winter while 1000s of tones of possible fire wood is just laying around waiting to fuel these disastrous fires. Grampians is a popular tourism destination. It should be a no brainer for the government to enforce ANYTHING to prevent wild wildfires like this. It can be done while still protecting wildlife and environment that rely on fallen trees and ground cover to survive. It’s not like fires are new to Australia. 😏
I don't know how these people think... after a wild bushfire u have these people planting trees, I'm for that but don't be planting eucalyptus trees everywhere. Those eucalyptus trees is what fire love, it's got oil which fuels the fires. It's not to say we have koalas there that need the eucalyptus tree. Why not plant some other tree but they choose to plant eucalyptus trees.
@@simonstathis1328 i get what your saying but what about our native population. If they don't plant native flora like the eucalyptus tree your setting the whole ecosystem up for failure. Plus from my knowledge, introduced species such as blackberry and arum lilys which are worse for fires and will spread very quickly if native trees arent replanted. Then if that happens you can say bye to most of our native fauna as well.
I know that some people are going to lose their homes, which we always seem to concentrate on, But with every bust fire we will have thousands of Koala bears that will be burnt alive in the gum tree that they live in ,along with thousands of other poor animals, ie Lizards, birds ,erc erc
What you mean like divert the money away from the renewables “supposedly”, fixing the falsehood of the weather crises that’s not actually happening; And give the money back in the rural fire brigade so they can have enough money too clear out the dead wood and combustibles from the bush again….What a fantastic idea! Wait-on; we’re dealing with a commonsense solution for our Labour Party to be rational about…*Goodluck with that!!!
Back in the 80s and 90s fire-fighters where prepared for the summer bushfires, they used to backburn certain areas so when a bush fire reaches that area it stops cos there is no fuel to burn cos it's already burnt out. I don't know the reason why they stopped doing that, it's like they want the bushfires to burn alot of land. It beats me !
Lack of funding and personal for Parks Victoria. They can’t manage the workload. Which is why it make my blood boil when they talk about making more national parks 😡
🤔🤔🤔🤔 interesting.. because they spray chemtrails to make IG dry so bushfires start.. think about it.. why would the Victorian government want rain when they want dry conditions to push there climate agenda and climate bull*hit.. I take daily photos of chemtrails in west Gippsland thdg spray morning and arvo to make if dry
So you won’t mind the Labour Party puting an extra tax on your water rates then….mmmmmm! *How much does it cost too poison the atmosphere more anyway???
Why, when our taxes pay for everything the government does, are aerial appliances not permitted to defend or help private property even if life is at risk?
Stay safe everyone and to all firefighters
There are fires there regularly. Maybe one day they will do decent preparation. Like let people collect their firewood and other proper management.
Yep, now Murray is all national park it's only a matter of time
Yep! 👍🏻

Will never happen. That’s far too sensible.

Prayers to all the victims . SA has very strong winds here today.
Ch 10 please also look at the terrible impact on wildlife. Maybe contact Pam from Wildwood Wildlife Shelter.
Hope everyone survives....sending best thoughts!
Sooo Tragic, Please Stay Safe Everyone ❤

Sorry to hear about this fire.
But couldn't you get the Army in to help as well
To do what? They are not trained to fight fires.
@grunkalunka3449 they have big machine's that could help out
@@SibbleSpry I hear what you’re saying but sometimes untrained people create more problems than they solve.
Stay safe everyone.
You are in our thoughts in the US. Stay safe. ❤❤
Often seems to be fires in that area. Maybe do some things to reduce the risks.

Exactly
They had all year to burn off but this sort thing happens every year when it’s hot and people have to suffer 😂😂😂😂😂

The weather likes to be balanced. What do you think happened in the Middle East? Floods.

Weather’s like a pendulum, if you disrupt it artificially, it’ll have negative consequences elsewhere.
Don't you need proper moisture bearing clouds for that?
My Dads got property in black range hope it doesn't get there 😢
Oh my goodness this is horrible. Please leave this area. There is no Chance to survive this horrible Firewall.😮😲🔥🔥
All us cfa volunteers sat at home and watched it burn because they wouldn’t allow us to go because they said we wernt needed
Did they do a burn off last year
Can't belive it's vic😮
This is Australia.
The usual Labor Party incompetence here listening to Greens demands not back burning earlier in the year when things should of been done .
😢

Since when???
