DNF Duel: Ranger Tips - Beginner Combos

Want to learn how to play Ranger but don't know where to start? Confused by all the combo videos and waffle? Don't know how to PEW PEW PEW good? Well this is the tutorial for you!
*SHORTCUTS*
For MP Skills you can use the following shortcuts (which are used in this video):
6M for 236M
4M for 214M
2M for 623M
The benefit of using the classic input over the shortcut is that your MP will start to regenerate quicker.
*SUDDEN DEATH*
Sudden Death is Ranger's Awaken Effect, it activates at 30% HP or less. Sudden Death on hit effects your opponent with "Revenge" that makes them do 25% less damage, take 33% more damage and MP regen 33% slower. Arguably one of the stronger Awakening Effects in the game :)
Ranger is considered a ranged type character (unsurprisingly) however he does have some pretty good tools up close. Max range you can annoy with 5AA 5B 2B and 5B 2B. 5A is duckable but 5B and 2B aren't. j.B is another good zoning tool. At mid-range you can combo into 2S for nice damage and use 6M if you want to switch side (block button makes cross-ups meaningless :P). 4M makes for an excellent pressure tool as well.
