I find AC30s to be enigmatic things in that I have never played through one that I have really liked.... Apart from anything else, as an old man, having to regularly deal with one would probably kill me. The pedal sounds great though. Now I'm wondering if Origin Effects will do something similar as their Magma 57 and Deluxe 61 pedals are so cool. Great playing as always.
Hey Kris, cool pedal and great video, I have several effects boards and am currently thinking about switching to digital to a good modeler, would you recommend that to me or should I stick with analog? Cheers David
@@richardmiller191 Hey, thanks a lot! It’s not available at Thomann (yet), I’m not sure if it will be sold there. You can definitely get it directly from VS Audio already. Check out the link in the description box. Cheers
Ohh that's a tough one. In terms of tone? They are very close, meaning both are amazing. The feel is different though, the JangleMaster is a little more direct (no ADDA conversion since it's analog) and I'd use them very differently. I'd go mostly direct with the Ruby (ampless) and the JangleMaster would mainly be connected to my amp's power amp.
Shame there isn’t an option for the normal channel as for many that’s where the magic lies . Cranked with a treble boost . That’s what Brian May uses 😀👍
Sounds really good! Have you tried the Menatone Top Boost in a can? If yes, how you compare them?
Cool man!

Thanks for the demo Kris. Any comments on the noise ? A big issue with Treble Boosters, as BM would say: a "snow storm in a box". Cheers.
@@jjbast Thanks! The boost is a little noisy but even with tele pickups it’s manageable. The pedal itself is very low noise without the boost engaged.
Hey Kris great video thanks for posting. I can't find this anywhere for sale - is it too new? If so do u know when it will be available? Thanks!

Greek pedals rule the World these days.
Whatever it is JAM Pedals, Crazy Tube Circuits, Tsakalis or here VS Audio.
Yeah man, there's something special in the water over there. Probably pedal juice or something, haha!
How does it compare to the Universal Audio UAFX Ruby '63?
Meh
I have the Ruby and it sounds 100x better than this pedal.
@@ClemsonJohnson More versatile, too, isn't it? I don't have the Ruby, but I have (and love!) the Dream '65. Thinking about getting the Ruby, too.

Plug a wah in front of all uafx and it will turn into a crap sound!

First song = When Queens Hammer to fall meet Black and white by MJ.
Yeah man, I fully understand what you mean, haha! There's definitely a good portion Black or White in there. 🤘
Very nice playing :)
What channel on the Ac30 is this pedal replicating?
@@GabrielSkolderblad The top boost channel. Plus a treble (or normal) booster. 👍
Thanks! I'm looking for a pedal that do Brian Mays AC30s normal channel with treble booster sound. Do you know of any?
@@GabrielSkolderbladI do check out the Universal Audio Ruby 63 it's unbelievable.
That sounds horrible
