- Austria, not Australia! It's been a very long while since I released my first All Endings video about Austria, and the previous "In a parallel universe" video gave me an idea for a remaster. In this video, we will mostly look at the fate of Austria after the Great War and the non-Germanic peoples, who once inhabited these lands. Enjoy!

1. Hidden blessed ending: 'tis would have been truly blessed (even though he was already a big German nationalist even before the rejection, but shhh)
2. Anschluss ending: This ending would have had interesting consequences, especially if you comsider which regions of Germany were least in favor of the Nazis.
3. Jannerstreik's Legacy: This one demonstartes the absolute clusterfuck that was the collapse of the Austria-Hungary
4. Blood and Irony ending: nice, but I think it probably would have had the black-red-gold flag.

There's plenty potential with Pakistan, like - Soviet ending - Soviets invade Pakistan after winning in Afghanistan;
Whole Pakistan - East Pakistan fails to secede; Pakistan defeats India; etc. etc. Lots of stuff that could be thought up after some research.
My favorite endings were the Norican and Alpine Federation ones (and of course the uhhhh, "reformed painter" ending), like mmm inject that in my veins. Danke Kamerad 🇦🇹 🇩🇪 🇨🇭

You could also add a bad ending: USSR didn't retreat from its occupation zone and Austria shared the fate of divided Germany, with Vienna split into two cities

Iron curtain ending:
Instead of being forced to become a neutral country during the cold war, austria got split up into pro western side in the west and pro eastern side in the east akin to that of the Western germany and eastern germany. Along with the nation of austria vienna also got split up just like Western berlin-eastern berlin

Nice video! 1:15 I see this Alpine Confederation/Federation pop up every once in a while in alternate history, but whenever I try to search it on wikipedia, I just don't find any historical proposal of such a thing. Where does it come from?
Anyway, here are some of my ideas:
Divided ending: After Stalin's refusal to give up it's occupation zone, Austria was split east and west until reunification in the 90's.

Dolfuss and Schuschnigg were actually very respective to the pre-1918 legacy. They put a lot of effort to keep traditions alive. They didn't call for expansion though. And what's interesting, apparently Otto von Habsburg had good contacts with Austrian fascists (who were just Christian Conservatives actually, not some radicals. They were staunch enemies of Hitler and vice versa, which means a lot). It is very possible that Austrian monarchy would have been restored, sooner or later. With Italian protection, nobody could protest. If not for the cursed Anschluss. If only the Fatherland Front remained longer in power. Maybe it would be like with Francoist Spain
Many might support unity of Austria and Germany, but if at least Vienna had a chance to see a monarchical flag again... I would gladly defend independent Austria

You could say that Hitler being accepted into art school and still becoming the leader of a country is something akin to him in Red Flood where he takes control of Austria using his still living mother’s name.

@@ContextlessMonarchist I didn't know that was their justification, thanks. All I know about the issue is from Kraut, an Austrian UA-cam Channel who is in favor of Romania joining the Schengen Area. When asked, he claimed that it was "racism, it's unfortunately that simple" when asked about why did other Austrians not let you in.
@@zsombortelek8411 I don't really like the Austrian government. There's this Gunther politician that once tweeted out "We should build a wall around Romania and let them think about their sins" or something like that because we don't recognise Kosovo. Everyone has different views on Kosovo, personally I don't recognize it as a country, but calling that sinning is childish behaviour. Austria certainly has a great culture, but their government just seems way too secluded. They feel like their neighbour Hungary: a democracy that's actually a dictatorship. Austria has way too many problems, but blocking a country that has proven capable of being a Schengen member out of the zone with a poor justification is a move I would see from Putin's Russia, not a so-called Alpine Democracy. Usually I just go with trolling online, but this whole Austrian issue has really made me think about how true democracies over Europe are. Can't say my country's government is perfect, it is full of corrupt politicians, and Romanian politics just feels like a game of grown-up children, with certain parties like AUR being laughable. Anyways, sorry if I bored you with my long comment, I just felt like getting this out so that maybe some people would see this and realise that Austria isn't the democracy they claim to be.
