Happy New Year to you too! Yes, I took a little break from youtube, but hoping to get back into it a bit. I will make a video soon on our kunekunes. They are doing great! And yes, our two sows had babies in May 2023. I'm not sure if you use instagram, but I post shorter form videos on there more often. There is a highlight on the pig births on my IG if you wanted a peek into that! @rockinkfarmandranch
@@deshaunbethea9117 Love that! My goal this year is to post all the birth vids to UA-cam. I have a little camera now which will make it easier to do both IG and YT. More to come!
@@rockinkfarmandranch I knew that I heard someone on another channel say that Alpines are sometimes sold as Nigerians, when they are younger and smaller, by dishonest people trying to make a buck They look like a full grown Nigerian to me, honestly. Do they have the same coat patterns as Nigerians? The Alpines that look like swiss-marked Nigerians, are just absolutely my favorite!! Super adorable! And I can't wait to see their little babes!
@@rockinkfarmandranch I guess that I could have waited to comment til I saw your other videos, blatantly saying that you have Alpines haha 😆 But hey, it helps your algorithm anyway!
@@amandamcclellan9366 that's so interesting about some people trying to sell an alpine as a Nigerian... that would be quite the shock to new owners as they kept getting bigger. 🤣 Alpines have similar colorings, but I feel like Alpines typically have less variety of color/markings and are less "flashy" than some NDs can be. But I'm just basing that on my own herd and other alpine herds I've seen compared to ND herds.
Happy new year 2024 and are you gonna make videos about your kunekune pigs and did they have any offspring?

@@rockinkfarmandranch Oh no, I don't have instagram and thanks for letting me know. Also on March 1st is national pig day!

@@rockinkfarmandranch Thank you very much and have a good night.
What breed are your goats? They are too tall to be Nigerians, but I know that there is a taller breed that looks similar to them...Alpine maybe? 🤔
You got it! They are Alpines- they have similar ears to Nigerian Dwarfs, but they are full size goats.
