How to Set-up your Tracker Targa Boat for Salmon Fishing.

I have a 2012 Tracker Targa 18/WT that I use for salmon fishing on the great lakes.
I have electric Walker Down riggers using the Versa track system attached to the gunnels of the boat.
I have also made some additional rod supports using 3" angle iron bolted to the versa track system as well. I have set up the boat to fish 8 rods comfortably with two riggers, 4 dipseys and two lone line off inline boards.

Ya the doors are not too tight the wire is on the side of the door. During down rigging, the doors are usually closed to avoid a tripping hazard. I hope this helps.

How did you wire your riggers?

I just use stainless steel downrigger cable

On the tracker, Targa, I have doors on each side that I have run heavy gauge wire to the starter battery to power the Downrigger’s. When not in use I coil up the wires into the storage compartment on each side. Some people go to the extent ending installing a receptaclefor each downrigger, but I didn’t do that.
