Eurobeat is much, much more than the memes and the songs that were included in Initial D. Initial D can be a great introduction to eurobeat, but once you step outside of the Initial D stuff, you'll find that there's a lot more to it. Some of the most popular eurobeat songs of all time were never used in Initial D and some very important eurobeat artists never had a single song in Initial D.
Gino Caria is my favorite eurobeat artist and he has a very deep, husky voice that works really well for early to mid 90s eurobeat. If there exists dark, punk eurobeat, Gino Caria delivered it. Sadly he passed away in 1997, before the Initial D anime even started, but his contributions to eurobeat are remarkable. Among his best songs are:

(Rabbits on the moon comes to my mind first). which one for his main Odyssey name. (First one I think of is seraphim) And which is his most well known as eurobeat brony (is it Luna or Discord I’d guess discord cause I think he’s remixed that one three times.)
