Spending time outdoors doing projects with various machines and tools - anything from cutting trees, firewood, clearing brush, milling wood, plowing snow, reviewing, repairing & fabricating equipment. Doing landscaping and maintenance on my forested property using my Kubota tractor.
And its not all work!! Gotta take time to play - after turning my pond into a skating rink, and a whole bunch more of outdoor activities.
Thanks for the video. Suggest slower and shorter drilling cycles to reduce heat and reapply cutting fluid. Periodically stop and spray to cool especially if fluid smokes off. Good or bad, I installed the back of hooks hard against the c-curled bucket lip for a 3rd point against pulling force shared with bolts (kubota LA402 loader bucket).
Thank you for watching. Good suggestion, will do. The hooks will come in real handy. Have a great day!
Any product information. Manufacturer and where you ordered them from. Look like good quality.
They have held up really well. Here is a link for the ones I purchased. a.co/d/b43dFKa Have a super day!
Someday I'll get off my lazy butt and install hooks on my bucket. Nice video!
Thanks Mark, it's a quick install, about 15 minutes. I got tired hooking to the quick attach and that is not really a good place to hook. Have a great day!
Good Morning Sir, Yes I agree about where you are going to install your hooks ( These are very well made btw💪) Yes a back plates are a vital factor for the structural integrity of the bucket and even reinforce it in the same time 🧐👍and not to be forgotten 😏With the set of arm that you have I believe you about breaking these bolts 😇💪👍 Keep up your OUTSTANDING VIDEOS and have a safe week Sir CHeers 🍻🍻
Good morning to you Sir, I know that you understand structural integrity and how important it is. You have a very impressive background. Thanks for watching and you too keep up the outstanding videos. Have a fantastic weekend Sir!
How about a link to where you can buy them?
Here is the link, I did add it to the video description as well.

Thanks for watching and have a great day!
Good job Paul. I'm so cheap I'll stick with welding one of what ever I have lying around in the middle.
Brent
Good morning Brent, absolutely nothing wrong with that. All that matters is that it works for you. Thanks for stopping by!
helpful video
Yeah hope it helps out someone.
Thanks nice job!
Thank you and have a great day Sir!
What kind of drill bits did you use,i have many so called high speed steel bits but none of them will drill a hole on my loader bucket..
Yes the bucket steel is very hard. The high speed drill bits don't work well for this application. I used a solid carbide drill bit. They are a lot more expensive but unbelievably better. I drilled through quite easily with the carbided bit. Be sure to use some wd40 or some type of oil when drilling. Also, you need to be careful not to drop a carbide bit since they are brittle on impact. Thanks for watching and have a great day!
Great video just got our kubota B2301 .. the bolt area on top lip rail of the 60 inch long bucket is 3.25 inches wide ..how wide was the area of the bucket on your model please …?
Thank you. Congratulations on your new tractor. The flat surface on my bucket is 3.25 inches as well. Have a great day!
