Great to see a young Stan Brock in action. He was the manager of the Dadanawa Ranch in Guyana for several years before joining Wild Kingdom. Stan had several pets including a puma, a jaguar, an ocelot and a tapir. I wonder if they feature in this video. RIP, Stan.
Stan was a saint. We lived on the Hart Ranch in the 60's.
Basically, what the Dadanawa ranch needs now as well as back then is a railroad.

Is this the first episode with Stan? So this is how he got his start with Wild Kingdom.
I think you are right. He looks younger here than in later programmes as a member of the Wild Kingdom team. If you are interested, he wrote several books about his time in Guiana {now Guyana} including JUNGLE COWBOY and MORE ABOUT LEEMO. One of his pets was a female puma named Leemo and I wonder if she features in this video.
Strange? I assumed that he started out as manager of the ranch rather than its owner.
Only because he spent a good deal of time relocating jaguars everytime that a lack of natural wild prey drove them to attacking the cattle.

And all the more reason why a railroad 🛤 should be built for the purpose of transporting cattle from the Dadanawa ranch to the meat packing plants in Georgetown, Guyana 🇬🇾. Better than flying in a traveling meat packing crew any day of the week.
