This is great to see. As a child I used to visit my grandparents regularly in Breadsall and used to walk the (then closed) line often. I remember the station still standing before later being set alight and then sadly demolished.
    Great work thanks.

It needs a lot of things Anna, you have to remember though that there wasn't so many trees in the 1950's near to railways

Wonderful to see this re-creation, having fond memories of travelling the line in my teens - happy days!

Brilliant re creation, just one point to mention. The white lines along the platform edges continue down the slope to rail level which is incorrect. They should stop at the end of the platform before the slope begins. These white lines were intoduced during the second world war to provide a visual guide to passengers in the blackout conditions of the day where the end of the platforms where sited. To continue the lines down te slope to rail level would create unsafe conditions if followed by passengers.

David those platforms are the ones provided by the simulator itself. I made most of the bridges and buildings seen though. Good information though, I made platforms for Friargate and didn't put any white lines on at all, it proved too difficult to add them to the model

Brian, Thanks for that, I hope that you did'nt mind me pointing it out. I think it is a fantastic simulation of a line I knew well and I could watch it over and over again. The bridges and buildings are so realistic and the performance of the B1 is so lifelike. Many thanks for the pleasure it has given.

Not at all David it's always good to hear from someone with your experience of the subject. Although we would love to get everything spot on we have to let some things go through unfortunately.
