Hollywood needs to FINALLY learn and accept this fact. NEVER underestimate a Black audience! Black people LOVE this fucking franchise. Someone said online a couple months ago 'Bad Boys' is our 'Die Hard'.

Kind of racist comment,I went to a theatre with plenty of white,oriental,Pakistan ,Jewish and other minorities,I know that I live in a huge cultural area,but not all audiences were like yours.

Bad Boys 4 did well and I was happy to be part of it. Great movie.

So much emphasis on Will Smith and not enough on Martin Lawrence. The dude is loved and this is the only way to see him these days

Right! The black audience is carrying this movie with 41% attendance. Black people love Martin Lawrence just as much as they love Will Smith.
To be fair the first movie had a lot of Martin in it. It’s just after that Will became bigger than him. It’s not totally right since it’s a buddy cop film.

I still believe it’s mainly due to the reception of the last movie, Bad Boys For Life was a legacy sequel that came out 17 years after the last one which to everyone’s surprise had more emotional depth and character development than either of its predecessors, and so I think that kinda reignited a lot of peoples’ interest in the franchise when Ride Or Die came along

It speaks to the strength of Bad Boys as a franchise. I’d argue that fans of the franchise aren’t as up in arms about the slap as others are. I mean Bad Boys ain’t gunning for any Oscars.

I was so excited to see it, I’ve always loved this franchise, definitely better than the third still on the fence if it’s better than the second, either way, I hope they come back with a fifth with no Armando & Reggie joining the crew, definitely loved it, I was laughing, clapping the whole 9, just wish cap wasn’t dead, but oh well. I hope it continues & doesn’t get TOO ridiculous like the fast franchise.

Everyone knew Inside Out (a kids movie) was going to top the box office. The first one was good.
However, most fathers , I know... saw BAD Boys 4 with their teens and early 20s sons.

I saw it yesterday for Father’s Day… it’s was awesome… Martin felt like Martin from the first movie… I’m glad that Martin was back.. and will was will with a lil frailty which was needed for his mike lowry character.. all in all surprisingly awesome 4th entry
