Need your help, sir. hope you will consider this. A symmetrical three hinged parabolic arch has a span of 16m and a central rise of 4m it carries a point load of 16KN at 4m from the left hinge, the horizontal reaction at the right hinge support is .....KN?
Dear, The problem based on three hinged is solved similar to a simply supported beam. I am providing you a link watch it and then try to solve your question. And still you are unable to solve then let me know i will help you. But first try to solve it by yourself.
You are explaining well but its better to explain clearly, like you are not posting numerous problems on this topic just 1 or 2 thats it. So in each and every step its better to teach from roots.
Please solve this problems (Q)A three hinged symmetric circular arch has a span of 36m and a rise of 6m. Determine the bending moment, normal thrust and radial shear at 9m From the left support,if the arch is subjected of a uniformly distributed load of intensity 30KN/m over the left half portion and a concentrated load of 60KN at 27m from the left springing.
The formula of equation of arch is y=(4hx)×(L-x) ÷L² not L
thanks
Yes
Yes you are right
Yep
came to comment section and found this immediately TY sir !
Formula is 4h/L²(Lx-x²)
tomorrow i have structures paper thanks to this may god bless me
You will find the whole playlist on structure analysis.
Please share with your friends too.
thank you for correction about the formula
the equation u mentioned for finding y is wrong. in the denominator, it is "L square", u wrote only "L". correct equaion is y=[(4*h*x)/L square]*(L-x)
positive is taken for sagging and negative for hogging .
Hello sir ji at 17:12 you take Hb negetive ok then Why you took -Ha in finding moment at D need clarity...!

Formula for radial sher is , Q= vcostheta - h sintheta
Y= 4hx(l-x)÷ l²
Is it Arch equation?
Save my day.
👍
Tqq sir very nice explanation 👌
Why is Shear negative, when drawing SFD?
I don't understand that.

Ok
Bai conjugate beam method da numerical krdo
Simply supported beam
Rk Bansal book cho
Ha bhai aaj karta hu
Hindi mai samajhe ga
Ok hindi me rahega. Done
Aaj mera exam hai or aaj video dekh rahe
Sir plz rectify the formula of parabola
Y=4hx/L^2(L-x) hota h na
Yes.
You are correct.
a trick : watch movies at Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching a lot of movies recently.
@Bryson Patrick Definitely, have been using flixzone for since november myself =)
@Bryson Patrick definitely, have been watching on flixzone for years myself :)
What?
18.03 at this time u wrote x/4 but it is 5x
he used a wrong formula but got a correct answer....y=4hx{L-x}/L squared
Thanks
