Hi Faye with Crash start training the leave it command. Start with tiny treats or chicken etc. Get him to sit down to sit and put the treat in the flat of your hand. Put your hand where he can see it without breaking the sit command and when he goes to get it tell him no and close your hand. When he stops trying to get the treat tell him yes good boy and feed him a treat from your other hand. Don't feed the treat from the closed hand. When he gets it and it won't take long then instead of no move to the command "leave it" Every time you use the word yes because he has got it right then reward. He will soon pick it up. Then you can apply this to anything you don't want him to have. Hope that helps. 🤞Good luck. Be consistent.
Put a load of stones into a old plastic bottle. When he gets possessive give the bottle one good shake it in front of him and say NO. Then take whatever he is being possessive over take it of him. Then give him praise. We done this with our border collie puppy it worked straight away. He isn’t possessive over anything he is 11 year old now. x hope this helps Faye. ❤️ x
Hi Faye, make your Yorkie mixture an hour before you use it. You'll see loads of bubbles on the top, this is the yeast rising. Put oil in your tray, get it smoking hot then whisk your mixture again and put it straight into your hot pain and don't open the oven while they're cooking. 🙏 Hope it works for you hun. Hi Fay!! Here is a helpful suggestion about the onions. I learn this from my aunt and it is something that I now do all the time. As soon as I get home from grocery shopping, I take my fresh produce and dice them up. Then I put them in a freezer bag (with a label on the bag to indicate the date that I put them in the freezer) and put the freezer bag of dice up produce in the freezer. I have done this with fresh bell peppers, carrots, onions, scallions, and celery. I have found that it saved me money and prep time for cooking. So I know that you don't like store brought frozen onions but maybe try freezing fresh onions to see if that is better for you. It works for me every time. Just a helpful suggestion to consider.😊
Spam Fritters - that takes me back! My Dad ran the local chippy when I was little, and I always sat in the back with a spam fritter, chips and a can of orange fanta! Can’t go wrong 😉😘xx

We have been doing the 1 hour up, 2 hour down method during the day from morning up until bedtime. It’s worked wonders for keeping her from getting herself over tired. Rottweilers and other puppies need 18-20 hours of sleep a day but they will force themselves to stay awake as they fear missing out. Not fitting to everyone’s lifestyles but me and my partner work from home so it’s been really great for us all. Another great vid Faye. Would love to go on a dog walk with the pups in the future x

I use to chop up little bits of fruit or veg put them in an ice cube tray, fill it with water and freeze it. My dog use to love chewing on these when he was teething x

We have a doberman and a staffie and we can put our hands in and pull anything from their mouths and take anything away from them.. the trick we found that worked was to stay cool and calm and tell them to leave it and then praise them when they leave and maybe treat train while he is young... because a verbal leave command is very important and could even be a life saver for them.. xx

Oh no Jane has gone home! Wow thought she was here to stay how crazy my aunt used to have a huge bungalow and it backed onto a woods they had a Labrador and a whippet who loved it but they often had snakes in their garden and with dogs it wasn't great so they moved sadly both dogs passed away but they downsized into a semi detached like ours and they're really small for dogs hence we have Splodge the bunny 🐇😂💖 love your Heron hauls I have been back since the bloke causing trouble in there! 🙈😅
You and Jane, a fleeting love! Lol. they do say that cats choose their owners. my daughter has a year old, lab. and he has a dressing gown, and outfits for every occasion. lol and goes to doggy day care. would love a heron xxx

Theirs a filter at the bottom of the machine have a basin ready when you turn the knob unscrew it loads of water will come out and bits of wool and fluff will be on the thing you screw off,I used to fix machines for my mum and mother inlaw god rest them,and I do my own,I love the different shops and bargains you get faye I got a online order from tesco price bad enough but missing meat drive you mad 🤣nothen I can do don't drive,I think crash will just grow out of all the puppy stages and he will become protective in his own household it's just their nature you will see him change the older he gets the bark will become deeper like a boy turn into a man,they next door to me has one,and the dog warden called lately and told him he must have secure place as if he got loose it could turn out bad with kids etc outside,he will be protective xx mags
Hey how u doing I only use my crate for the night only I would suggest when taking something off him say a firm no and replace with a treat my 6 month old staffy is a nightmare for nicking shoes and underwear especially dirty underwear cos my dogs a tool so when I take something off him he's not allowed I say a firm no and redirect with a treat or toy... Goodluck he's a gorgeous boy
My puppy goes in his crate to, he sleeps all night in it. My puppy won’t toilet outside & he’s 5 months old now. I let him out & walk him & he holds it till he’s back in the house.x
try putting the pads outside, the ones hes weed on he hopefully will learn to go out to do it.

Hi Fay, I have two Beagles which are renowned for their resource guarding . We use squeeze cheese as a distraction from the guarding . You could try that with Crash xx
Mine isn't a rotty however I went to puppy training and we was taught to constantly take things off them using a command leave said very firm and give tiny treats when they come away from said item.... eventually you can praise them by saying good boy and every other time give them a treat till you fade it out, we also lifted his tea up and put it back down, so he knew things weren't his and that we was higher up the pack, in puppy training they use to throw balls and we had to get him to sit wait and leave this was at the very end to get our certificate and I must admit it worked, I have a Beagle and everyone is shocked how great he is off the lead because usually Beagles tend to piss off eating and sniffing everything, don't feel bad for crate training my Ozzy was crate trained from 8 weeks old and didn't know any different, on a night he learnt very quick to toilet outside, more so the using puppy pads, and after so long he would take himself into it and that was his safe chill space, when he was in there I told my son to leave him alone, we stopped using it when he was fully toilet trained and didn't chew, which he did when left alone with separation anxiety so we had to pop him in the crate but was only left for about 2-3hrs tops and took him on a big long walk before hand, we did some extra 1 on 1 training for it and so we didn't need to crate, but each to their own, don't let anyone slate ya for doing it your way, it's one thing offering help/advice it's another thing making someone feel bad or saying they're doing it wrong which I find there alot of negative shite when it comes to dog owners xx
Take the item from him put on the top so he sees and say MINE , keep practicing, we did it and now we can even take food off him x
On my gosh.....spam fritters.....I bloody love them! Used to have them at school (I am nearing 50) whenever my family take me to skeg and they have traditional fish and chips I have spam fritter, chips and curry sauce. Everyone always say I'm disgusting but I love them especially as I eat quite healthily throughout the year, it's my treat xx
Been in pj's all day as weather is bad 😬 love them small peppers choppind up in salad in summer will even use in stews spag bol as don't like the big ones 😜 when I remember do put crumpets in freezer like I said before they were fine when forgot we had them 2 days out of date 😂😂😂 nothing wrong with using dog crate it's their safe place before we lost our jack Russell she would always go when we had tea never locked in 😑 like a lady said before you have to be firm when stopping crash having things he should not but am sure dog class's will be able to give you advice. Faye if you go in tesco again shopping look for there basic range it's called miss molly cheap as chips but they open new store near were l live part of tesco its called Jack's suppose to be dead cheap not been to it yet because its over side of hull it really hard to get to other side of city one way system nightmare

Try and cut the onions in a bowl of water. It helps to dull the smell so you don't end up crying. I mite go to farmfoods tomorrow see what bargains I can get. Save a couple of pounds. Have a good rest of the week x

Lol, I'm no dog trainer! but I do have three dogs I trained myself, I maybe wouldn't swap the thing your trying to take with a treat or toy, incase he treats it as a game, I would just say be firm with few clear command's so as not to confuse him. Leave or off pick one and be consistent with it, very firm so he associates the tone and command. Might work for you aswell. Hope your all good and looking forward to Christmas ☃️🎄 take care xxx

*Cats advice* I did have 10 cats at one point (currently have 4 now). It was too many. Some of the 10 cats ended up rehoming themselves as they would not come in because of the other cats. Best to keep to a low number

Hey Fay don’t show crash any fear , he will pick up on that. Take things off him often , even his own stuff and praise him loads and reward him for letting it go, be very assertive so he knows you are top dog and he is bottom of the pack even beneath the children. If you give him a command make sure he carry’s it out even if it is for a sec. then lots of praise . Hope that helps some x

I e had two rotties ... the guarding thing mine started with food bowls from about crash age I always was the boss so to speak with them I would remove bowls mid eating pretend it was mine and place bowl back down then remove again same with toys etc just to show dominance over them . I had two of best dogs ever people would comment on how well behaved they were and devoted to me just through voice and hand movements I never used treats only praise and love . I don’t mean they didn’t get treats but not in command training etc . I did puppy training like you for socialisation... you’ll find as they get older not many people will take a interest in him it’s a: shame how people are with misconceptions mine would walk off lead as so well behaved n people would shout if their dogs were off put your dog on a lead I’d say put yours on a lead if get reply I don’t need to you do .... really ? I’d get in some scrapes not the dogs !!! They are fantastic dogs . And you’re fab owners x
