    In this video I am doing data recovery for a customer. Laptop came in with no power, diagnostic revealed liquid spill and short on the board.     I'm not sure what your heat gun settings are but I'm pretty sure you were heating the component for a little too long. Lucky it didn't cause delamination or surrounding component damage. You really shouldn't put so much heat in there.

      Removing mosfets require significant amount of heat. It took longer because I was trying to find the right temperature and not going too extreme on it to not cause damage to the board. At the end it was 860F with air settings 6 on my hakko FR-810B.
