@@FableErrejeDMR yep... Show me the goods or get out... If i am really dead on board even if opponent trades i will concede... I guess you could swap out Bloodbloom as well, since you're not gonna be playing it for the Cataclysm combo. Unless you expect the opponent to believe that you're running two Bloodblooms, in which case I still fail to see in which common scenario it would be useful. And while you're at it, you could also swap out all the other Mecha'thun related cards and just play a normal control warlock with some galvanizers for the troll. Might be as effective as this version of the deck
This is a 100% troll deck. The entire point is to make people think that he's playing Mecha'thun and concede. He doesn't care about the efficacy of the actual deck.
The Novice Engineer is the only other card unique to this deck as opposed to other Warlock decks. As long as you run 2 Novice Engineers, run 2 Galvanizers, and Life Tap every turn, you should be able to fool your opponent.
Bloodbloom is more of a card that you need to always reminds that you never play it... so your opponent thinks that you have mechathun in hand, and if he is a good tracker he will definitely think that the Bloodbloom is the Mechathun... and is the only card that you can use in a emergency case, and people can still think that you have another copy, the other two cards(mechathun and cataclysm) is totally impossible to run 2 copies of it... because one of them is a legendary and the other is to much risk/tempo loss... so this is the best choice of the 3 cards...
Now that it's all over UA-cam, people are going to wise up and force mechathun's to finish out the game, in which case fake mechathun decks will start losing every game tomorrow.
1:42 he is actually right....I'd rather concede than sit through 70 secondes of 'well played' and 'I greeeeet youuu' Thank goodness no one ever surfes the web to this unpopular site called twitch.com and sees what cards remain in your hand.
It’s actually a deck invented by a Chinese live-streamer. He found BloodBloom useless first during serval battles because enemies always surrender quickly. Then he become even more radical and finally removed Mecha’thun. Started with 5:00 in this video m.ua-cam.com/video/kpzXMXKHhtc/v-deo.html
the problem remains. your enemy have to know about the deck your playing , i think this can be hard to pull of at rank 15 to 10 , but this deck can legit win and you don't need mecha thun which saves 1600 dust if you are free to play. Bluff-lock looks interesting , but only if the opponent hits the concede button.
As an MTG-player, zhis reminds me of the time of "no-winoption-AdNauseam" (a deck that worked similar, just making your opponent scoop to an apparent combo kill)
To be fair it's actually an amazing plan. People play so differently when they think Mecha'Thun is coming, and you can leverage that to your advantage by just not playing it... TOAST YOU GENIUS!

Hmm, interesting deck. If you think about it... The worst card in a Mechathun Deck is Mechathun. ...Why didn't anybody come up with an idea like this before??
A deck that punishes players who don't feel like sitting around waiting for their opponent to finish their combo only to realize like a mad man they removed half of it
Any old school MTG players remember dragon storm? Don't remember the player but he used to run the combo, then take out the finisher for more consistent pieces to run the combo in game two then when he "goes off" asked his opponent if they wanted to concede as to save time. Big brain plays.
"not running mechathun in a mechathun warlock deck is nice, because you can run much better cards" Like the godfrey and hellfire you put in? that you didn't play that game?
Ofcourse they're not better than the other cards in mechathun warlock, otherwise they would already be in there! Still better than dead cards like mechathun
Yeah, putting better cards in the deck means "tech cards against certain matchups". Often you need to pick and choose which answers you put in a deck based on what you think the meta is, but if you have 2 extra slots, you can just cover all your bases.@@bdunk650

That’s part of the point, by getting rid of the two cards you are able to run more cards for the denial Warlock style.
