If you haven't already, make sure you set your Tangent Watch preferences to 'Low Power' mode. This will buy you more juice. The only tradeoff with 'Low Power' mode is that it works best with your phone nearby (preferably in a pocket). Give it a try and see if it improves the performance... The battery on older watches also tends to degrade over time, but in Low Power mode I can play more than 36 holes with my series 6. A lot of Apple Watch users are also migrating towards the Ultra 2 as the battery life on it is great.
Absolutely! Your watch should last for the entire round. If you have an older watch, I suggest enabling 'low power mode' in your Tangent Preferences. This will use your phone's GPS when nearby and will dramatically improve battery life. I can play over 36 holes in low power mode.
I heard about this app on a podcast and just downloaded it today. I’m gonna give it a trial run and see how I like it. I’m super intrigued by the automatic shot tracking. The app on iPhone does look a bit busy and cluttered so it’d be nice if it had a little cleaner more refined look. I’m hopeful it will live up to the early hype. Now I just need to get out on the course again. I’ve been using Swing U for the past few years and it’s pretty great! It doesn’t have auto shot tracking though which is a feature I’ve really been wanting. It also works well using the watch. I’m still using a gen 4 Watch and it has plenty of battery to last 18 holes.
Absolutely. As part of the onboarding you should setup your bag with how far you think you hit clubs and what clubs you have in your bag. You can always return to your bag from the home screen and override the caddie the caddie with new yardages so that it is tailored to you.
I'm a total convert to Tangent. Excellent app, brilliant watch integration, this tutorial has shown me new things to try too.

Is there a way to manually input club distances so the caddy has something to work with before adjusting your distances if it needs to?
