Very cool you chose to do this song. We've both been there. Seeing Lou Reed in Atlanta on my 18th Birthday after driving down from Virginia (near Washington where we used to "cop") with my crazy partners was quite a trip loaded on Qaludes. Wild times.

WOW! That's it, just WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And to think that my husband Michael met Jason in a music store in Elmira Heights, NY around this time, but had no clue who Jason was. Jason was in town for a concert. Michael was jamming a little on guitar when Jason introduced himself to Michael, then said, "You're one hell of a guitar player." Had we known how great Jason was, we would have gone to hear him in concert while he was here.

I got run over by a skid loader with no back up signal at work and it crushed my foot. I was bored so I started playing a harmonica 9 months ago and my friends are impressed with how good i'm getting. Everyone should give it a try.

I was dying in the icy n got home after my old coworker a drummer knew I liked the harp gave me his melody maker key of A I would blow on my harp every time instead of saying ouch 2.5yrs ago since around then give been getting down about 8n more hrs a day when I can somebody a featured guitarist on bandlab tolb me his own opinion I'm about #2harpster on bl I can't read music and taught myself n Sun-Times watch Jason's tutorals

I was given a harp every birthday by my "bio father" & never played it. He was murdered when I was 8 yrs old...I never put it down since then! My step Dad really was the one who cultured my music and was my biggest supporter. He just passed. Now @ 48, I'm still playing! Music has given me a chance to play all over the country & meet many really good people. Without the harp I'd be missing apart of who I am.

I'm doing that same game plan now. Just had shoulder surgery, having 2 more in the next 6 months. I have been playing harp all day and I'm gonna keep playing harp all day and watching Jason Ricci and Ronnie Shellist and jammin to the blues til I figure this shit out.

To those that want to harp along: Try a E harp in 2nd pos. Play the high scale way back in your mouth and use blow bends. The mid scale is as usual [ if you can believe it ] I believe the guitar is playing 1st position pentatonic in a major scale starting at fret 4 . This puts the song in B major but with some minor notes with the harp. That's where you and I can start to follow along . Thank Mr. for posting this . Good show, Jason puts energy in it and it carries the song. .

Jason, first I must say that I love your music. Maybe it's because I played some electric guitar on high school and now, learning harmonica, I feel a very strong connection with your style. For me, you're a great example of balance between "feeling" and technicallity and I'm eager to start developing a similar scale approach on the instrument. It's amazing and very inspiring. Thank you for all the hard work you have (and still are) putting into it.
Since I started, I've been hoping there's a chance to take online classes with you, maybe during next year, when I'm done with the fundamentals on the instrument.
