I’m from Reading and although the kits weird, it’s based on a bar in town called the Purple Turtle which is a bit of a Reading institution and is on the same street where Reading FC was founded. So although it’s shitty, it’s shitty for a cool reason if you’re from Reading.

You actually wouldn't get a yellow card for the Burger King one because the reason you get a yellow is because the rulebook states you may not remove the sponsor during goal celebration, so since the sponsor (BK man) is still visible, it is thus allowed.
