Some people may not realize this, but Rose McGowan was already a culturally relevant artist & activist before the Weinstein saga and the #MeToo movement. But she made the brave choice to amplify her voice. And despite the vapid criticism, it's critical that society have immense gratitude for those of us who continue to give & share pieces of themselves in the pursuit of justice. And it's not easy -- I applaud Rose and others for their dedication.

did you know Rose McGowan and other Feminist pushed another woman Jill Messick to suicide because she had e-mails defending Harvey Weinstein she herself wasn`t defending Harvey Weinstein but she had information that was so she had to go. and I have yet to see one of these cowards actually lose her got or face any Consequences not even Chloe Goins. Andrea Constance was Caught multiple time lying under oath but experts first she says she didn`t hear much from him now they were in sexual relationship . but experts say inconsistencies in stories are normal behavior of women claiming to be vicytims

Lewis Beshers did you know Rose McGowan and other feminist pushed another woman Jill Messick to suicide because she had Information on old E-mails defending Harvey Weinstein she her had Information that was so she had to go they almost lost my case because of old records Andrea Constance was caught several times lying under oath but experts say inconsistencies in stories are normal victim behavior of the women the experts studied and got their statistics

Smartass012 Yes, I had read about her taking her life. My brother battled bipolar disorder as well, and the side effects of the meds eventually killed him. Harvey Weinstein is a monster, and much of the blame is on him. 20 years on Monica Lewinsky is finally getting her voice and sense of self back. Many, many people were cogs in the Weinstein coverup/terror campaign, and I'm sure many felt like they had no choice in the matter because of his ability as a kingmaker. Hopefully society as a whole will be able to make some long overdue attitude adjustments as to morality and ethical norms going forward, in order too protect all who are in vulnerable positions, in any and all workplaces.

Why did it not? ... b/c Times Up was a PR cover up funded by CAA and other Talent Agencies. Keep your enemies 'closer.' Rose McGowan really started the movement, kept it going with the articles and truth. Meanwhile, have you heard of other actress stories? Nooo.. they suppress evidence so there's no real prosecution, like a cycled system e.g.: Amber Heard is suppressed too with no forensic teams, 2 suppressive lawyers.
Sawyer speaks over her, because she's changing what's said.
Also, why should Ashley Judd and her law firm donate any proceedings? Women should keep their money.
The Talent Agencies are there to protect their other talent, aka, the other male actors/producers/directors doing the abusing of the women. So then the agencies know when the other client accuses another client. It's just to pretend that they're lawyers helping when they don't really 'win' and there's disinfo attacking the actresses.

WELL SAID ! ! ! I know nothing about McGowan , other than being somewhat remotely aware she has brought charges against Weinstein and has gotten a lot of criticism, some of it particularly harsh, for doing so. However, until I watched this video, I have neither read nor watched anything about this whole mess. As a #metoo survivor, I can say her choice of words in defense of our right to live of lives without being assaulted be are incredibly powerful, on target, and very, very well worded. I truly appreciate a good spokeswoman. Thank you, Rose McGowan!

“Bad behavior isn’t on trial”.... Sounds like the defense of don jr and others meeting with Russians. It was just “poor judgement and inappropriate”. Huh. You could swap both excuses. What crime wasn’t inappropriate bad behavior or poor judgement? I’m not naive enough to believe the Casting Couch ends with this, but hope it’s greatly hurt. I recall the Eagles song King of Hollywood about such. Wonder how many great actresses we never saw on the screen because they wouldn’t play for pay. Thanks Rose, Stephanie, and MSNBC!

A lot of Harvey's tactics are reminiscent of Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer.

Very powerful statements. She's got a lot of sincere emotion. Sad that we might never see her act again. I hope all these journalists and people who said they support her look into her life now. There are some hints she may have fallen into a drug habit. The stress of this public ordeal may have been too much for her.

Well said Rose ..there's a long way to go but it's a start . For those who say people didn't come forward at the time of their assaults, they did they tried ..but you don't get the reaction or help you need when someone has more influence or money than you. Brave lady

I look at it like this , I know I will catch a lot of HE double Hockey Sticks for this but I appeal to everyone to do this, Take a look at The Physical appearance of the Men who have been accused of Sexual Harassment and you will notice they are not exactly Male Models are they??????Harvey is not Brad Pitt, Rob Lowe, or Tom Cruise as far as appearance just like Clarence Thomas is not Denzel, Shemar Moore, Taye Diggs, or Morris Chestnut, and I'm just using famous examples but at just everyday workplaces 79 to 80 % of men that are accused of Sexual Harassment are physically unattractive to a lot of Women, Think about it.
