- The Skateboard Mag's own Joey Shigeo gets the call to shoot Japan's Yuto Horigome, as Yuto steps up to the massive infamous 20 rail in downtown Los Angeles while filming for his Next New Wave part. The thing is, Yuto doesn't speak English and Joey doesn't want to mess this up... Not to mention this spot is a major bust. So, what's Yuto going to do? He's gunna' nail it and even stack a back 360 hammer in the Process.

Yeah that 5-0 is GNARLY! That rail is soooo long, to sit on it like that is crazy, it's not a super tall rail, actually pretty low to get on, but like el toro it provably seems like you're on it for days
I love his relaxed style. He’s become of my favorites.
You know he has a high IQ based on how he put his board sideways to use as a a seat in order to higher elevate his hips to make tying his shoes less strenuous. Leaving the board on all 4's would decrease the elevation making the shoe lace adjustments more laborious.

Probably they went back later or the next day and had to act quickly to avoid security. So instead of wasting time setting up lights and all that crap they shot the trick with a handheld camera.
